- Everyday is a great day in the anime world and today is no different. Birthdays are abundant and now we send our birthday shoutouts to Clannad's very own Kotomi Ichinose, who's a schoolmate of Tomoya and are both in the same year. She's in a separate class from him however. A little fun fact is that Kotomi's name derived from the Japanese instrument of the same name 'Koto'. She's an incredibly smart and talented individual, always scoring in the top ten within the whole country and continuously studying to maintaining those results.
