We’re getting used to making our way across the Season 5 map in Fortnite. It doesn’t really have much it can surprise us with at this point, and that’s helpful for getting through these challenges. We have one more week left after this one, and things are building to a climactic finale. Let’s proceed, shall we?
Free Tier Challenges:
- Deal 500 damage with Explosive Weapons to opponents - 5 Battle Stars
- Get 150,000 Trick Points in a Shopping Cart or ATK - 5 Battle Stars
- Follow the treasure map found in Shifty Shafts - 10 Battle Stars
Battle Pass Challenges
- Stages 1-5: Search a Chest in ____ - 5 Battle Stars
- Visit 7 different Stone Heads - 5 Battle Stars
- 5 Assault Rifle Eliminations - 10 Battle Stars
- Eliminate 3 opponents in Tomato Temple - 10 Battle Stars
Follow the treasure map found in Shifty Shafts
This will take you to the most recognizable mountain in Fortnite. Head to the multi-level mountain overlooking Salty Springs and head to the lower platform closest to Salty with the pine tree and the rock. The Battle Star will be right there for the taking.
Stages 1-5: Search a Chest in ____
You’ll need to grab 5 chests from 5 different locations around the map at different stages. You’re also going to need to head to them in different matches and finish the match to trigger each stage in order to do so.
- Haunted Hills
- Shifty Shafts
- Lazy Links
- Tilted Towers
- Risky Reels
Visit 7 different Stone Heads
There are Stone Heads nearby almost every major point of interest on the map, so you should be used to seeing them. They also make good landing points if there are chests and Rifts nearby. Head to 7 of them to complete this challenge.
Road Trip Hidden Battle Star Week 9
At coordinates E8 on the side of the rock cliff by the bridge, there’s a spot you need to build up to collect the banner. As you know, after the Road Trip Enforcer skin was unlocked, XP and Battle Star tiers no longer drop from these hidden collectibles, but they’re still worth grabbing for hidden unlocks. This one is rather straightforward so just farm up and build to it.
