Dai Suu is an unpopular mangaka who was raised in an orphanage. He doesn’t interact with his surroundings much though, and so he lives an aimless life in isolation and boredom. However, one day his life does a complete 180 when he meets Myou, a mysterious boy who has cat ears.

Dai Suu’s heart, which was wrapped in isolation up till now, begins to feel a new feeling: warmth, as he spends time with Myou who causes nothing but trouble. Their comical, everyday life together as Myou who has cat ears, and the unpopular, isolated mangaka Dai Suu, starts now!

Hora, Mimi ga Mieteru yo! is an anime for all of you BL fanatics out there. Why? Well, you’ll have to watch and find out. First of all, we have Da Shu, a man who picks up a cat outside in the rain. Once the cat is inside the house, he turns into a humanoid creature with the head of a cat. Then eventually, he becomes some sort of shota with cat ears who whines a lot and acts pitiful. Still, Da Shu loves how cute Miao is and they live an OK life together. Da Shu is always trying to do ordinary stuff with Miao involved in his life, but Miao acts very much like a cat and has no rhyme or reason for the things he does. He’s not even trolling when he does things like grabs groceries from all of the small shops in the shopping arcade or when he acts Da Shu which fish they plan on picking to get sent to its death. He’s just curious. Then he randomly knocks over a cup of water and you remember that he’s a cat boy. However, Da Shu still adores Miao and you can see how cute they are when they interact. If it’s not BL in anyway, I’m stumped. All the same, their day to day interactions can be very cute.
