Japanese food from another world

Izakaya “Nobu” is a modest establishment, staffed by only two people: master, Nobuyuki Yazawa, and server, Shinobu Senke.

Despite its humble appearance, its entrance is mysteriously connected to an ancient city from another world: “Aitheria.” Nobu’s patrons consist of lazy palace guards, incognito clergymen, and the Waterworks Guildmaster –certainly not your average clientele!

But once they enter Nobu’s doors, they are greeted with the finest alcohol they’ve ever tasted and dishes the likes of which they’ve never seen. With the food plentiful and the drinks flowing, the patrons leave their troubles at the door as they call,

“Give me a cold ale, master!”

“Welcome!”

“Evenin’”

Nobuyuki Yazawa

Voice Actor: Tomokazu Sugita

Nobuyuki is the head of Nobu. He is an excellent cook because he used to be an Itamae (type of Japanese chef) at a traditional Japanese restaurant.

Shinobu Senke

Voice Actor: Suzuko Mimori

Shinobu is Nobu’s pretty face who attracts customers. Bright and lively, she has excellent manners.

Hans

Voice Actor: Atsushi Abe

Hans is a guard from the old capital. Ever since he was bewitched by Nobu’s ‘toriaezu nama’ ale, he became a regular.

Nikolaus

Voice Actor: Shoutarou Morikubo

Nikolaus is a fellow soldier of Hans’. He’s a good-natured young man who brought Hans to Nobu for the first time.

Bertholdt

Voice Actor: Katsuyuki Konishi

Bertholdt is the company commander for the guards of the old city. He is often referred to as ‘demon’ and is the commanding officer for Hans and Nikolaus.

Eva

Voice Actor: TBA

Eva is the dishwasher of Nobu. She’s an honest and very kind girl. She’s kind of like the mascot character.

Helmina

Voice Actor: TBA

Helmina is Bertholdt’s young wife. She’s the daughter of a cuttlefish fisherman and a very calm beauty.
