Three Episode Impression

Three young women continue to survive in a land filled with red fog and bug-like entities. Using their various “powers” the girls can unleash destructive force on the beings dubbed mushi but still must be weary of their own hopeless situation. One day though a new survivor is found in the form of a young man and the girls begin to have hope for a brighter tomorrow. However, is this red fog world willing to allow hope to even exist?

Honestly, we’re on the fence about Kemurikusa as of three episodes folks. The art style and animation haven’t really wowed us but we do find the premise of three girls kicking bug butt pretty fun. We don’t think Kemurikusa will be on many viewers must watch list of 2019 but we think a few episodes wouldn’t hurt anyone. We have a sneaky suspicion that Kemurikusa might have some hidden tricks up its sleeves with epic sci-fi action battles just waiting for us in the future.
