What You Need to Know:
- A twitter account belonging to the Japanese TV Show Kinyou Road Show tweeted out the visual embedded below saying that a new Lupin III film is coming Winter 2019. This comes on the heels of a special that will be debuting this Friday night for Lupin III.
- Lupin III 5th Season ran for two cours through Spring and Summer last year, and this special will be the first new work since then, and the first anime special in almost six years. The 5th season saw the debut of new technology such as the internet, smartphones, and more alongside some things that Lupin will never give up.
- Interestingly, the visual tweeted out by the twitter account says winter 2019. The Winter 2019 time block is what is airing right now from January - March, so it should be interesting to see if the movie is going to debut before the end of March or if we are going to see it debut say... end of December 2019. Either way, stay tuned for more information!
