- It has been revealed in Weekly Shounen Jump manga magazine that Nanatsu no Taizai (The Seven Deadly Sins) will be going on hiatus until 18 January 2017.
- The reason for the hiatus is managaka Nakaba Suzuki is being hospitalised in order to undergo surgery.
- In the letter to fans shown below, it is stated that it is not a serious medical issue and that he is being hospitalised "just in case" so fans shouldn't worry.
