What You Need to Know:

  • Yesterday Nintendo presented an 8 minute direct feed of upcoming Pokemon titles, and one of the surprises was Pokken Tournament DX which is slated to release later this year. To kick off the excitement in a big way, Nintendo has added Pokken Tournament DX to their E3 lineup of tournament titles alongside Splatoon 2 and ARMS.
  • This third Nintendo Switch game will complete the triad of social, competitive games in action at Nintendo’s booth next week at the E3 video game trade show in Los Angeles.
  • Be sure to tune into E3 2017 when Nintendo goes live with the Nintendo Treehouse, where the folks at Nintendo will unveil new information related to Super Mario Odyssey as well as Pokken Tournament DX. Everything kicks off June 13th so be sure to log into Twitch, Nintendo E3 or Youtube to stay up to date!

Tournament Schedules

Pokken Tournament DX

Date: Wednesday, June 14
Time: 10:30 a.m. PT*
Competitors: Eight YouTube and Twitch stars
Format: Crew battle with four teams and two players per team. Random draft order. The first person in each crew must choose one of the new characters; the other person can choose one of the original characters.
Prize: Winners will each receive a Pokkén Tournament DX art piece signed by Tsunekazu Ishihara, president and CEO of The Pokémon Company, and members of the development team.
Casters: Jordan Kent, D1 and VikkiKitty
