What You Need to Know:
- Has anyone seen the movie above? It was made in 1993 as a live action of the hit video game Super Mario Brothers. Unfortunately, it did not do well in the least and is now just a cult hit.
- Nintendo has now come out today and said that they will be taking their hit characters such as Mario and Link and be making them into 3DCG movies. Their goal is not only domestic success in Japan, but success abroad as well in the American market and the world! The release goal for the first movie is about 2-3 years down the road. Who knows how technology will have evolved by then!?
- They have said that they are aiming to make something that the whole family can enjoy. By the way, back in the late 80s there was also a Super Mario anime as well. Japanese netizens are... well you can see below, but what do you think about this? Will you give it a shot?
