Synopsis
In the spring of his second year of highschool, Ren Amamiya transfers into Shujin Academy in Tokyo. Due to unforeseen circumstances and an incident, Ren awakens as a “persona” user. Together with his newly-made friends, they form the Phantom Thieves of Hearts.
While stealing the “distorted desires” of adults who have been bathed in evil, they force them to reform. They also go around their town and solve incidents one by one involving adults who have mysteriously lost their minds.

Hero
Voice Actor: Jun Fukuyama
Ren has just transferred into Tokyo this spring and will be attending Shujin Academy as a second-year high school student. Due to unforeseen circumstances and an incident, Ren awakens as a ‘persona’ user. Thank to his parents connections, he lives in a cafe on the outskirts of town and does not pay for room and board while attending school.
Ryuuji Sakamoto
Voice Actor: Mamoru Miyano
Ryuuji is a second-year student at Shujin Academy. He is compassionate and is someone who gets things done, but due to his rough speech and rude actions, he has been labeled as a ‘problem child’ within the academy. He doesn’t fit in.
Morgana
Voice Actor: Ikue Otani
Morgana is a black cat that is wrapped in many mysteries. Right after saving Ren after he suddenly wanders into another world, Mogana starts living with Ren. Morgana takes his meals together with and sleeps with Ren. He says nasty things but, in reality he thinks of his allies the most.
Anne Tamaki
Voice Actor: Nana Mizuki
Anne is also a second-year student at Shujin Academy. Anne is a beautiful girl who is a quarter American. She has a innocent and docile personality, but due to those around her not accepting her different looks, she is very isolated. Therefore, she cares extremely deeply for her only best friend who attends Shujin Academy with her.
Yusuke Kitagawa
Voice Actor: Tomokazu Sugita
Yusuke is a scholarship student in the Art Course at Kosei High School. He’s a beautiful young boy who draws the attention of those around him, but on top of his unique sensitiveness, he gives off an other-worldly impression. After the death of his mother when he was a child, he became an orphan. However, the master Japanese painter who sees the artistic talent residing within Yusuke, Madarame, has allowed him to live with him as one of his students.
Makoto Niijima
Voice Actor: Rina Sato
Makoto is a third-year student at Shujin Academy. Makoto has a sharp mind making her a student council president of irreproachable conduct. She is cool, calm, and collected, has a strong sense of responsibility, and has the ability to take charge. However, this also means that she is so serious that she cannot compromise making her a natural-born honors student.
Futaba Sakura
Voice Actor: Aoi Yuki
Futaba has a superhuman ability to calculate, and genius-like programming skills. However, because of her extremely terrible communication skills and the fact that there was a traumatic incident in her past, she is a hikikomori (shut-in) currently. She is of age to be a first-year high school student, but ever since she graduated middle school, she has stopped attending school itself.
Haru Okumura
Voice Actor: Haruka Tomatsu
Haru is a third-year student at Shujin Academy. She is the daughter of the president of a major company in the restaurant industry. Raised in a wealthy family, Haru is elegant, yet ignorant in the ways of the the world, but on the other hand, she watches people intently. She can interact with anyone flawlessly, but at the same time, she also tries to avoid forming deeper bonds with others.
