What You Need to Know:
- Sentai Filmworks have today announced that they will soon be releasing the anime movie Typhoon Noruda by Studio Colorido.
- The original supernatural drama premiered in Japan n June 2015. Sentai Filmworks will first be releasing it digitally, with a home media release to follow at a later date.
- Typhoon Noruda features direction by former Studio Ghibli animator Yojiro Arai, character design by Hiroyasu Ishida, and music by Masashi Hamauzu.

The film takes place in a middle school on a remote island. Shuichi Azuma, a dedicated student, suddenly quits the baseball team, which leads to a fight with his best friend, Kenta. When a storm hits their school one day, Shuichi meets Noruda, a mysterious girl with a strange necklace, who seems to be somehow connected with the typhoon. Who is she? More importantly, why does Shuichi feel the need to help her?
