The 5 Most Diligent Workers in Africa no Salaryman (Africa Salaryman)

Office life is hard from the workload, expected overtime, and office politics. You can’t expect to like all your coworkers. You may find some work a lot harder than others. The Africa no Salaryman company is no exception though it probably has a bit more bloodshed than normal. Let’s take a look at the 5 most diligent workers this side of the Safari!

5. Toucan

It’s probably surprising to see Toucan anywhere on this list but it’s only because there are some really bad workers at their company. Toucan won’t do anything out of a sense of pride or obligation to his work, but he really gets serious when his play is at stake. Toucan accosted President Turtle when he learned there would be no ‘summer vacation’ at the office but his tune completely changed when he learned they would be taking a business trip to Hawaii. He was able to buckle down and get all his work done now that he was working for himself rather than the good of the company but still counts!

4. Honey Badger

Honey Badger is, unfortunately, one of the higher-ups at the company but he’s not someone you would look at and think ‘Ah, he got that job based on hard work.’ It’s not necessarily that he hates work, he just wastes a lot of time fighting and harassing employees and trying to show off how unafraid of anything he is. This has led Honey Badger to a number of deaths, but he diligently comes back to life and back to work the next day so we have to give him some credit.

3. Caracal

With his nice suit and pleasant expression, Caracal seems like a good candidate for this list. Caracal works in HR and sometimes nags the other less dependable workers about their duties. He only makes it to number three, though, because he has some faults. He believes strongly in timeliness and preparedness as seen when he gets on to Toucan for being late or in the flashback to when he was first hired. He’s also willing to overlook major problems to keep the company from looking bad, one of those problems namely being Ratel and the recruitment process in general.

2. Big Cat

Big Cat is a very dependable guy with years of experience. He goes about his daily tasks without complaint and seems to be quite comfortable with office life. He still manages to have a little fun and likes chatting with his workmates but he never slacks off, even while having to deal with Toucan’s antics. His ability to concentrate on his work through Toucan’s harassment and blatant disregard for their projects is quite admirable!

1. Lizard

Lizard is our number one example of a diligent worker. To a fault, he focuses on his work to where he barely notices the hours of overtime he puts in. Even his superior Big Cat has teased him a little about not taking care of himself more and working too hard. Lizard never shies away from a task even if it seems mundane or completely outside his job description. Lizard’s the one at the office most likely to get onto Toucan and who knows how bad that bird would be otherwise.

Final Thoughts

Africa no Salaryman gives us good examples of both diligent and crappy workers that make everyone’s lives harder. Too bad there are such few prime examples of good employees. We have to wonder how that company is able to make it. Its success may very well rest on the backs of Big Cat and Lizard but at least they can make up for everyone else’s faults!

Hey friends! I reside in Georgia and use my degree in Japanese primarily to (barely) read doujinshi that hasn’t been translated. Beyond deciding who is best girl in whatever I happen to be watching, I really enjoy ballroom dancing, reading, crying over dating sims, karaoke, and being surrounded by beautiful things~ (You know, scenery, décor, boys, stuff like that). I also love talking about passions with others!
