During the 1920s, the world faced a grave threat. Powerful demons rose up and appeared in America and began to unleash Chaos. However, a powerful organization rose up known as the Order of Magdalene and began to fight against the demons using powerful warriors such as Chrno and Rosette. Though these two warriors might be fighting against evil forces, they have their own evils stemming from horrible pasts that cause them both pain. Together Rosette and Chrno must conquer their own demons while defeating real ones to keep the world safe.

First on our list of the Top 10 Anime Characters with Santa Cosplay, we look at Rosette Christopher from Chrno Crusade. Part nun-like girl and all demon hunter, Rosette—also known as Rose—might be cosplaying all the time with her nun outfit but there was one episode where she tried a different outfit, a familiar red and white themed outfit. Rose actually wore a Santa outfit—you heard us right, folks. This took place in episode 12 and Rose won our hearts during this Christmas themed episode. Needless to say, Rose is always cute looking regardless of her attire but we really get into the Christmas spirit.

It’s been six months since thousands were transported from their PCs in the real world into the online game known as Elder Tale. Under the leadership of Shiroe and with his friends like Akatsuki, Nyanta and Naotsugu, many have begun to settle into this virtual world. However, that doesn’t mean everyone is on board with Shiroe’s ideals and with the Round Table realizing money is dwindling, actions need to be taken. Meanwhile, the NPCs of Elder Tale are beginning to evolve and are becoming more and more human. What adventures await next to Shiroe this season in Log Horizon 2nd Season?

There are many cute and adorable girls in Log Horizon but when one of them decided to wear Santa cosplay during episode 4 our hearts were taken. Princess Rayneshia El-Arte Corwen a former NPC, showed that Santa cosplay can look great even if you’re an NPC in a fictional game world. Rayneshia was clearly embarrassed by her attire—which we could understand—but that didn’t stop her from looking pretty dang good. That’s why we here at Honey’s Anime wouldn’t mind being thrown into a game world like Elder Tale. If girls like Rayneshia are wearing cute Santa cosplay in a video game world, then we’re sold on being trapped there alongside them.

At school, Umaru Doma is considered the perfect girl. Gorgeous and smart, classmates adore her and even envy her. However, at home, Umaru isn’t what she appears like outside. When Umaru is alone with her brother Taihei, she becomes a super energetic girl who loves anime, video games, soda and all things junk food related. Welcome to the world of Umaru in Himouto! Umaru-chan.

Most who have seen Himouto! Umaru-chan know of Umaru’s brother Taihei. Hard working and very stern, Taihei might seem far from the cosplay type but ironically, he does do it once. In the Christmas episode of Himouto! Umaru-chan, Taihei puts on the red and white suit of Chris Cringle himself and even gives out gifts! We here at Honey’s Anime were surprised to see Taihei in this way but also goes to teach everyone an important lesson in life. Even during the holidays, you have to let yourself enjoy the spirit of the holiday in any way you can.

Christmas, for many, is a great time of the year where people celebrate good memories and gift giving. For Junichi Tachibana, Christmas holds a dark moment of his life. Two Christmas Eves ago, Junichi found himself being stood up when he asked a girl out on Christmas Eve and ever since then, Christmas has held bad memories for the high school student. Though this year might be different for Junichi if he chooses one of several girls to give his heart to. Amagami SS follows Junichi in several what-if tales to see what would happen if he decided on a particular girl to fall in love with.

While Junichi has many girls he could choose from in Amagami SS, our personal favorite is Haruka Morishima. Captain of the swim team and lover of all things cute, Haruka is just one of those girls you wouldn’t mind having as a girlfriend. That’s why you can’t blame us for getting quite happy when Haruka did something interesting during one Christmas Eve episode of Amagami SS. Here, Haruka put on and flaunted a sexy Santa outfit which looked to be quite small for her, though we won’t complain about her showing off some rather nice sights and many of Haruka’s fans also probably won’t complain.

There are normal everyday girls and there are girls like Super Sonico. In college while trying to find herself in this hectic world, Super Sonico enjoys the simpler things in life like cats, cute things and being part of a band known as First Astronomical Velocity alongside her friends Suzu and Fuuri. What will Super Sonico do next you may ask? Well, for Super Sonico, she will do what she loves to do the most, live life and do what makes her happy!

The well endowed Super Sonico isn’t a stranger to various outfits and uniforms. We’ve seen her in everything from mermaid outfits to swimsuits that reveal her rather large oppai. Though for us here at Honey’s Anime, one of our favorites comes from her Santa outfit worn in SoniAni: Super Sonico The Animation. Here, we got to witness one of the best miracles of anime. Fanservice in the form of Super Sonico in a sexy Santa cosplay.

Yui Hirasawa has just become a high school student but her usual carefree attitude and high levels of energy haven’t dwindled. Then one day, Yui sees a poster for a light music club and eagerly wants to join despite having no knowledge of musical instruments. Upon arriving at the Light Music Club, Yui meets the club members Mio, Tsumugi and Ritsu and, despite her lack of skill, they still wish for her to stay and join to prevent the club from being removed due to a lack of members. Now, Yui will learn how to play the Guitar and together, these 4 will rise up to become the best music club ever. At least, that’s what they hope to do!

This decision here, folks, was a hard one for us here at Honey’s Anime. Two of the characters from K-On!—Mio Akiyama and Yui Hirasawa—wore Santa cosplay in K-On!’s Christmas themed episode. However, we could only choose one worth of being on our list and we went with Mio. Not only was Mio even cuter than ever wearing her Santa outfit and being embarrassed about it, but even the other Light Music Club members realized how cute Mio was. Thus, they ultimately helped us make our decision and decided Mio was the cuter girl within K-On!

Imagine if every nation wasn’t represented by a man or woman but by the nation itself. Instead of people with power doing the talking, the nations themselves spoke. That’s the concept of Hetalia Axis Powers. Here we witness countries like Italy and France being all friends—kind of—and discussing their issues on a civil level. Hetalia Axis Powers shows what life would be like if various countries literally had a voice.

The various characters from Hetalia Axis Powers are known for some interesting outfits and attire. Though seeing as how this is a Christmas themed article only those with Santa outfits are worthy of being here. That’s why Sealand himself gains a spot on our Top 10 Anime Characters with Santa Cosplay. Sealand easily has one of the most impressive Santa outfits where he even rides in, at one point, on a sleigh mirroring Santa Claus! If Sealand decided to rock a beard he would have made it higher on our list without question. Though being 4th isn’t a bad spot so we’re sure he’d be extremely happy with our decision.

In the world of Fiore, magic isn’t an unknown ideal. Everyday people of Fiore use magic to make their life easier and even use it to protect others. A young mage in training known as Lucy Hearfilia wishes to join a powerful guild called Fairy Tail known for making the best wizards around. After almost being abducted after being deceived by a stranger, Lucy’s savior Natsu—whom she met prior—invites her to join the guild he’s part of which just so happens to be Fairy Tail. Now, Lucy will join some of the strongest and oddest members of Fairy Tail and go on adventures as they explore the land of Fiore together!

Many fans of Fairy Tail—Honey’s Anime included—know of the beautiful girls of the series. One of our personal favorites happens to be Erza Scarlet a fiery red-head whose attitude might scare off many but not us devoted fans who love her. That’s why we were all happy when we got a special gift when one episode of Fairy Tail actually had Erza wearing sexy Santa cosplay. Not only is Erza great looking in her Santa outfit but she gave a gift to all who love her by wearing it. That in our mind makes us indeed worthy of being on our Top 10 Anime Characters with Santa Cosplay list.

An alien race known as the Amanto have invaded Earth. One of their first conquered places was feudal Japan and thus, all samurai are forced to lay down their blades. However, Gintoki Sakata refused to let his samurai soul fall to a bunch of aliens and continues to keep his blade. Working as a samurai errand boy for hire, Gintoki, alongside his crew, work to help others and do various jobs. Though these jobs can become quite odd and truly push them into some outlandish situations. Thankfully, Gintoki is used to strange things and, needless to say, is willing to take on any job as long as it pays.

Here at Honey’s Anime we love comedy anime. One of the best comedy anime of all time, thanks to its randomness, happens to have one of our Santa cosplayers for our Top 10 Anime Characters with Santa Cosplay Gintoki Sakata. In episode 201, a contest breaks out to see who is the true Santa and thus, Gintoki dresses up in Santa regalia himself. Not only does he look super goofy as Santa but he at least tries to act like Santa more than most who wear Santa’s famous clothes. Literally, Gintoki dons a giant scruffy beard! That makes Gintoki an excellent Santa cosplayer, even if he might be a tad too thin to be the true Santa himself.

High school is about to get crazy and fun in Lucky Star. Based on the 4-koma, Lucky Star follows a group of high spirited girls as they survive school in whatever way they can. Each day is another new adventure for the girls like Konata, Kagami and the rest of the gang. School is about to become more than just a place of higher education. Though Konata and the rest won’t argue about school being less boring and more exciting.

We all here at Honey’s Anime knew this was coming. The one who we love the most in Santa cosplay and worthy of the number one spot is Konata Izumi from Lucky Star. Not only does she look adorable in her outfit but Konata’s super energy makes the Christmas spirit fly into our spirits. Let’s be honest, folks, who here disagrees with Konata being the best girl in Santa cosplay? We doubt many are saying no and thus, we know we made the right choice here.
