Top 10 Boku no Hero Academia Suits

Superhero shows just never get old, so it’s really no surprise that we keep getting this kind of anime year after year. There are so many awesome things about them; the action, the superpowers, the heroism, the scary villains... But there is one thing that stands above all others. Something so appealing and mesmerizing that makes us go back to our childhood and say “I want to be a superhero”. You guessed it; we’re talking about superhero suits.

Boku no Hero Academia is one of the top shows of the last Spring season, and it owes its great success partly to its fascinating storyline and fresh animation. However, one of this show’s strongest points, and perhaps its most attractive feature, was its set of cool looking characters. The heroes’ suits are a key element on Boku no Hero Academia, as they both reflect and define each character’s personality (apart from making them look unique and awesome!). Today, we’re going to explore some of this show’s best hero suits.

This is our Top 10 best suits from Boku no Hero Academia!

10. Hanta Sero

hanta-sero-boku-no-hero-academia

We begin our list with one of the most underrated student heroes, Hanta Sero. He’s not among the most powerful kids in his class, but he does have a lot of potential and, most importantly (at least for our list), he knows how to dress like a superhero. Many of his classmates intend to become professional heroes wearing casual clothes or karate outfits, or by resembling freaking Pikachu (seriously, Denki, come on!).

Unlike those people, Hanta Sero actually looks like a hero, despite the fact that he shoots some kind of tape from his elbows. His flashy costume is very similar to those of the Power Rangers. Hanta wears a futuristic full-body tight black suit with white boots and a cool helmet (good for hiding his identity; some heroes keep forgetting this…). His suit has short sleeves so that his elbows are exposed and he can use his quirk properly. Hanta Sero may be one of the lamest heroes at the academy, but his badass suit certainly makes up for it.

9. Izuku Midoriya

Izuku Midoriya Boku no Hero Academia

We know you probably expected to find our main character a bit higher on our list, but hey, let’s be real; his hero costume is just not what we were expecting. The next greatest hero is supposed to be cool, strong and awe-inspiring. Instead, we find Izuku Midoriya dressed as a peppermint-colored slender rabbit with an unsettling smile on his mask. So, this is clearly not the best looking hero suit on the show.

However, during the battle at the Unforeseen Simulation Joint, Izuku is not seen with his original hero suit but with his blue gym outfit, which looks far cooler. He also has his elbow and knee pads, white gloves and a piece of his mask around his neck. This suit looks much better than the previous one and it’s definitely a step in the right direction towards becoming the greatest hero ever.

8. Ochako Uraraka

Ochako Uraraka Boku no Hero Academia

The lovely girl, Ochako Uraraka, has quite an interesting hero costume. Her suit is both girly and futuristic, although it’s a kind of old-school futuristic. This suit reminds us of those on Megaman, with its thick round forearms and boots. It looks a lot like a space suit and, considering Ochako’s quirk, that seems quite appropriate.

Most of her costume is just a skin-tight dark green with pale pink suit which often makes some of her most attractive features stand out. Her accessories, namely her belt, collar, boots and forearms, are designed to press specific points on her body to neutralize the side effects of using her quirk. Basically, they keep her from puking rainbows like the time she saved Izuku. All in all, Ochako’s suit is cute, sexy, cool and also quite functional.

7. Momo Yaoyorozu

Momo Yaoyorozu Boku no Hero Academia

Momo Yaoyorozu is presented as one of the student heroes with the most potential. We’re still not sure exactly how powerful she is, but we do know for sure how hot she is. Momo is a superbabe, and her hero costume reveals pretty much everything we want to know about her.

Seriously, her outfit is quite revealing. As a hero, Momo wears a skin-tight red outfit that exposes her long legs and her arms and that features a breath-taking cleavage down to her belly button. To make this babe of a hero even hotter, her suit also features a pair of sexy red boots. Apparently, having only few clothes on helps her use her quirk. Whatever the reason, she looks sexy and awesome!

6. Tsuyu Asui

Tsuyu Asui Boku no Hero Academia

Of course, not all girls need to be hot in order to look awesome, and Tsuyu Asui is the living proof of that. Given her frog-like form, Tsuyu is by far one of the weirdest looking heroes around, but that doesn’t make her any less cool or heroic. Her suit is also one of the most interesting ones, since it makes her look even more like a frog.

Tsuyu’s hero costume is a green skin-tight suit with black stripes and black boots with swimming flippers on the feet. She also has big gloves for her large frog-like hands and green goggles that imitate a frog’s eyes. This outfit is clearly not among the most intimidating ones, but it’s certainly quite colorful and it looks really cute on Tsuyu. Besides, this froggy girl should not be underestimated. She can kick ass with her 65 feet long tongue!

5. Eijirou Kirishima

Eijirou Kirishima Boku no Hero Academia

Eijirou Kirishima is one of the coolest characters on the show. He’s really powerful and as competitive as Bakugou, although much nicer and friendlier. As we would expect, his superhero outfit is just as badass as he is. Plus, it allows him to show off his muscular body, so even if he doesn’t become the greatest hero he can still be quite popular with the ladies.

His suit is mainly made of a ragged dark red skirt around his dark blue pants with a big “R” letter on his belt. He also has red shoulder pads shaped like gears, a pair of sturdy boots and a mask that has no other purpose than to make him look cool, since it doesn’t cover his eyes or mouth. These new heroes seem to not care at all about secret identities. At least Eijirou’s suit succeeds at making him look really tough and badass.

4. Tomura Shigaraki

Tomura Shigaraki Boku no Hero Academia

Tomura Shigaraki is the main bad guy on the show. He is a very powerful and wicked villain, and as such he needs to inspire dread in the hearts of his enemies, which he obviously achieves by wearing one of the most disturbing suits we’ve ever seen. Tomura’s costume is so scary that it looks like it was taken from Tokyo Ghoul.

His villain outfit is nothing fancy; it’s quite simplistic yet effective. It consists of black pants with a plain black V-neck shirt, giving him a creepy thin guy look resembling a walking corpse. Of course, the most salient and disturbing thing about Tomura’s suit are the disembodied hands grabbing his arms, chest, neck and even his face. It’s not really clear why Tomura wears hands all over his body (perhaps it has something to do with his quirk), but if all he wants is to creep the hell out of us, then he definitely succeeded.

3. Tenya Iida

Tenya Iida Boku no Hero Academia

Tenya Iida is the class president and one of the students with the greatest potential. As such, his look as a hero is really intimidating and awe-inspiring. He wears one of the coolest suits on the show, which doesn’t exactly reflect how serious and boring he is, but it certainly portrays his toughness and sense of justice.

Tenya’s hero suit resembles a paladin or a white knight who fights for justice, with a little Optimus Prime vibe to it. This suit is made of several pieces of white metallic armor and a badass helmet that completely covers Tenya’s face. Since his quirk is the “engine”, his suit is appropriately decorated with mufflers extending back from his torso. With this suit, Tenya Iida looks more awesome than any Transformer ever.

2. All Might

All Might Boku no Hero Academia

Now we have the greatest hero that ever lived, the Symbol of Peace, All Might. The best hero and the best suit obviously go hand in hand, and All Might’s suit is by far one of the coolest on the entire show. Probably no other hero or villain suit calls our attention as much as this one, although we should also consider that it’s not just the suit that looks good, but it’s All Might’s massively muscular body that also makes the suit stand out.

Some might argue that this particular suit is everything but original, and they would be right. The red, white and blue body suit with golden gloves and boots can indeed seem a bit clichéd. Still, it is that traditional comic book hero look that makes this suit so appealing and awesome. It looks like a perfect fusion between Superman and Captain America, and what can possibly be any cooler than that?

1. Katsuki Bakugou

Katsuki Bakugou is one of the main characters on the show and Izuku’s counterpart. He’s extremely proud, arrogant and aggressive. In fact, if we think about it, it’s only natural that Bakugou has such volatile temperament, since his quirk consists of creating explosions. Furthermore, his hero suit also reflects his aggressive personality (apart from giving him the coolest look in his class).

Bakugou’s outfit consists of a tight fit black tank top with a big orange X on it, a metallic neck pad, black and orange strapped boots, metallic knee pads and a belt with grenades. Also, what’s really cool about this suit are the enormous grenade shaped gauntlets on Bakugou’s arms where he shoots his explosions from. This character is just so cool and badass that he completely blew our minds.

Conclusion

Well, guys, we’ve finally come to the end of our Top 10 best suits from Boku no Hero Academia. All of these awesome looking superhero suits are a big reason why this show is great. We’re really looking forward to the second season. Hopefully we’ll get more cool superheroes and suits. We might even update this list if they keep making nice suits.

Now it’s your turn to share what you think. Which are your favorite suits and heroes? How hyped are you about the second season? Let us know in the comments! ˆ-ˆ
