Top 10 Strongest Stands from JoJo’s Bizzare Adventures

The world of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is a truly unique and fascinating one, filled with incredible powers and abilities known as "stands." These stands, which range from the superhuman strength of Star Platinum to the time-manipulating abilities of Made in Heaven, play a central role in the series and are what make it truly stand out from other anime and manga.

With so many stands to choose from, it can be difficult to decide which ones are the most powerful or the most interesting. So, get ready to dive into the amazing world of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure as we rank the Top 10 Strongest Stands from JoJo’s Bizzare Adventure. With so many incredible powers and abilities on display, it's sure to be an exciting and action-packed journey.

10. Cream (Vanilla Ice)

This stand belongs to Vanilla Ice and can turn the world into one big game of Jenga. With Cream, Vanilla Ice can manipulate the space within a 2-meter radius, creating a void that can engulf anything within its range, and it can also manipulate the density of objects, effectively turning them into a soft or hardened state. It's like a giant eraser, wiping away anything in its path.

Cream's capabilities are highly destructive and can swallow buildings and people whole, and also make them extremely fragile and easy to break. It's like a giant black hole that sucks in everything in its path. But its major shortcoming is its limited range as it can only affect objects within a certain area, making it less effective against long-range opponents.

9. Killer Queen (Yoshikage Kira)

This stand belongs to the serial killer Yoshikage Kira and is known for its dangerous explosive power. It can turn anything it touches into a bomb, making it a formidable opponent in battle. Its signature move, "Sheer Heart Attack," is an unmanned bomb that relentlessly chases its target until it explodes.

It's like having a personal demolition crew at your disposal but with the major shortcoming that its blasts can affect the user. Killer Queen's destructive capabilities are off the charts and especially when combined with the diabolically brilliant mind of Kira Yoshikage

8. The World (Dio Brando)

Arguably the most popular stand, it is known for its time-halting abilities. It can freeze time for about six to nine seconds, giving its user a strategic advantage in the battle with its only caveat being the fact that it drains a lot of energy from its user, making it difficult to sustain for long periods.

The World possesses phenomenal strength, precision, and incredible speed, being able to easily match Star Platinum in combat. However, it is unclear if this is an aspect of Dio's vampiric nature or simply having greater experience with his Stand. Its main offence is generally characterized by a flurry of speedy punches and the occasional kick.

7. Star Platinum (Jotaro Kujo)

Jotaro Kujo’s Star platinum is extremely similar to Dio’s The World in terms of incredible precision, superhuman strength, and even the ability to freeze time for a few seconds. It can punch with such force that it can send opponents flying, and its speed and agility allow it to catch bullets at point-blank range.

One could say that Star Platinum's fast evolution places it above The World. As it was able to defeat Dio even though it wasn’t necessarily better at stopping time and Dio had had the stand for a much longer period.

6. King Crimson (Diavolo)

King Crimson is the Stand of Passione leader Diavolo. At first, glance seems like a very powerful yet confusing stand (in terms of its abilities). And that’s because it is two Stands in one. Diavolo’s stand can predict the future, allowing it to evade attacks and strike at the perfect moment - It's like having a crystal ball that can predict everything from the weather to stock market trends.

The real power of King Crimson lies in its ability to erase time, this power can be used to alter events in the past, making it so that they never happened. This can be incredibly useful in battle, making it so that your opponent's attack never happened, or erasing your own mistakes. But the downside is that it doesn't have a physical form and can't engage in direct combat, so you better have a good strategy and a good team.

5. Weather Report (Weather)

This stand is used by Weather (Domenico Pucci) and is a versatile Stand possessing near-complete control over the weather. This powerful ability allows Weather Report a wide array of options during a fight either for offence or defence and as a result, it is very capable in close combat.

This can be incredibly useful in battle, allowing you to create a blizzard to slow down your opponents or a thunderstorm to blind them. But the downside is that it can only affect the weather within a limited area and it's ineffective in areas with extreme weather conditions, making it less effective in certain environments. But the abilities of the Weather Report stand are so powerful, especially in its “Heavy Weather” form. Unlike the rest of Weather Report's abilities, Heavy Weather is automatic, stemming from Weather's rage against humanity. It is incredibly dangerous and nearly impossible to protect against, and only sealing the ability or killing Weather will stop the chaos it will cause.

4. Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap (Funny Valentine)

Also known as D4C, Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap is the Stand of the 23rd President of the United States, Funny Valentine, and can allow its user to travel through different dimensions. D4C allows different parallel worlds/dimensions to co-exist at the same time and/or in the same place. It also allows its user to visit these parallel worlds/dimensions and interact with them.

Valentine travels by being close to two objects, shown first by putting himself between a chair and the ground. Liquid materials, such as water count as objects as well, as even dust or steam. Valentine only needs an infinitesimal part of himself put between two objects to be able to hop between dimensions. This can be incredibly useful in battle, allowing you to quickly get out of dangerous situations or sneak up on your opponents. But the downside is that it can only teleport short distances and has a limited range of attack, making it less effective against long-range opponents. The abilities of Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap are not limited to teleportation, it can also create a powerful shockwave upon reappearing, making it a formidable weapon in battle.

3. Made In Heaven (Enrico Pucci)

Considered by Dio to be the ultimate Stand and the key to achieving "heaven", Made in Heaven is an extremely powerful close-range time-controlling Stand. Although its physical abilities may not be remarkable, its control over time grants it an overwhelming speed advantage and even counters abilities that function with a time limit like Star Platinum's time stop. It also grants its user extraordinary speed and reaction time, as Pucci is seen to be effortlessly outdoing any of his opponents.

However, its most powerful asset isn't its control over time, but instead its ability to bring about a new universe with extraordinary properties. This is called “Universal Reset” and it’s a result of Made in Heaven accelerating time so fast that the universe hits a "vanishing point". It results in a new universe being created where everything repeats itself.

2. Tusk Act IV (Johnny Joestar)

Tusk Act IV is the highest evolution of Tusk, the Stand of Johnny Joestar, featured in Steel Ball Runs. Tusk Act IV can be accessed only when Johnny uses the Golden Spin and has the highest offensive power in the entire JoJo series.

To make Tusk Act IV work, one has to have a good grip on physics. It gets its power from the Golden Spin, a source of infinite energy. The fact that it has infinite energy allows it to perform feats that might otherwise be impossible, such as defying gravity, breaking through dimensional barriers, and more. If it touches someone, it forces them to start spinning indefinitely until or unless Johnny hits them with something spinning with the opposite rotation.

1. Gold Experience Requiem (Giorno Giovanna)

The Gold Experience Requiem in the hands of Giorno Giovanna is arguably the strongest stand in the world of JoJo. It is the evolved 'Requiem' form of Gold Experience, created when pierced by the Stand Arrow. It has two noteworthy abilities - Revert to Zero and Lifegiver. Revert to Zero can negate any action that has been taken, effectively making the previous events null and void and also forcing anyone it destroys into an endless loop of death by continually reverting the target to "zero."

Lifegiver endows just about anything with life energy, basically creating living animals from inanimate objects, giving someone a power boost by amping up their life energy, or even temporarily reanimating a deceased body.

Final Thoughts

Anime is such a broad medium that it is hard to limit a list like this, especially about the strongest stands, to only ten. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure has long dominated these sorts of lists, still, with the advent of other anime with incredible powers and abilities. And with so many stands to choose from, we understand other names could have been easily included on this list, and we would love to hear your suggestions in the comments. If you disagree with any of the picks and their placing, do say!
