5. Unabara from Tenchi Souzou Design-bu (Heaven’s Design Team)

At number five, we have the cutest artist Unabara from Heaven’s Design Team. Everyone from Heaven’s Design Team has their quirks that make them extremely unique and Unabara’s pursuit just happens to be that everything he creates must be cute. However, the way he cares for his animals and helps them to live a good life always overtakes his ideal of things being cute. This just shows how gentle and caring Unabara is and this is no secret when we’re first introduced to him. We definitely think that Unabara deserves this spot simply because of his caring nature that makes him the cutest gentleman!

4. Satoru Gojou from Jujutsu Kaisen

Satoru Gojou needs no introduction. He’s the guy that your parents warned you to be careful of...if you’re a demon that is. Satoru Gojou is extremely goofy and caring with his students and the people he cares about but if you cross his way, you’ll see a whole new side of him that you wish you’d never have to. Being able to pull both goofy and scary traits perfectly in the way he conducts himself, Gojou Satoru is a beauty to behold and love this season.

3. Izumi Miyamura from Horimiya

Izumi Miyamura is simply one of a kind. With an extremely cool demeanor outside school yet shy, Izumi stole everyone’s heart this Winter with his boyish charm. As a closeted punk, Izumi is caring and honest in the way he approaches the people he loves. Izumi did not have the best past one could have but that did not stop him from being gentle with everyone he meets, not to mention that he is great with kids. As he gets closer to Tooru, we see his cute and goofy side, stealing our hearts once more.

2. Ban from Nanatsu no Taizai: Fundo no Shinpan (Seven Deadly Sins: Dragon’s Judgement)

If you’re Ban’s girlfriend, then you’re one hell of a lucky person. Ban is caring to the point where he would go to hell (quite literally) just to find a way to bring the love of his life back to life so he can cherish her till the end of his days. As an immortal who is discontent with life, Ban retains all his good qualities untainted by the sinful nature of the world. Even if it means giving up his immortality to save the love of his life, he would do it without a smidge of hesitation. That’s exactly what he did for Elaine and more. Relentless in his pursuit, Ban will not be wavered by the impossible because he thinks that all he needs to do is make it possible. As an extremely good cook, he would steal your heart in more ways than one so beware!

1. Langa Hasegawa from SK8: the Infinity

Standing at the top this Winter 2021, we have Langa Hasegawa or “Snow” from SK8: the Infinity. Langa’s personality is an extension of his name in “S”, soft and gentle but wouldn’t hesitate to freeze you to death. He cares deeply about the people around him and it is very clear that these people give meaning to his life. With gifted abilities that enable seamlessly reach the heights he wants to with his passion, Langa is very determined to get what he wants even if it means his life will be at risk. However, his true personality comes out around Reki and he is extremely adorable and klutzy. With his snowy hair and cool expression that melts around Reki, Langa is just a full 10/10 in terms of looks and his personality.

A college student and a hopeless romantic weeb slowly realizing her dreams of working in the anime industry and living like the characters of Love is Hard for Otaku with her boyfriend. Anime and writing have and always will be a huge part of my life. When I'm not watching anime or reading manga, you can find me impulsively buying kawaii things from stationery and snacks to other aesthetic things I 'need'. I also dream about visiting Japan one day, both for its culture and anime, while hoping to master the romantic language that is Japanese.
