You might reading the title and going why does the term CCG sound so familiar? Ironically, many of us who grew up on games like Magic: The Gathering or Pokemon should actually know what this is. CCG is short for collectible card gaming. For our first two examples, we will be exploring some of the more recent card games that have come out so you can get a nice understanding of some modern day CCG titles. Now then let us dive into our examples. Don’t worry we will walk you through this so you come out fully understanding what we mean.
