Emma and the others have succeeded in escaping from Isabella and leaving the "Grace Field House" by using a hanger and a string.
But soon after their escape, all the brothers except Emma, Ray, Thoma, and Chris disappear. They have fallen into the hole of a human devouring tree.
The four of them fall in as well, and are chased by the moving roots of the demon tree. However, they rely on "PROMISE" and the story of the "Alva Pinella Snake" from the adventure book written in Morse code, " Adventures of Ugo" to find a way to escape.

Soon after, a weak demon comes after them and Ray decides to leave the group to face the enemy. Upon defeating the inferior species, the pursuer, who runs the plantation, finally makes his appearance.

The group, including Ray, is rescued by a mysterious girl named Mujika and a man named Sonju. They are both demons, but also social heretics who don't consume human flesh for religious reasons.
