The Hero Club members are back in action, doing what they can to help others! The girls find themselves participating in pellet-gun competitions, camping, at a karaoke bar, and participating in other adorable and helpful activities. The bonding and group activities are extra cute, and the playful comedy of these slice-of-life adventures is present in everything they do.

Though the girls are back in their Hero Club mode, it has only been six months since their last season's battle. The scars are still fresh, and the wounds for what was lost still run deep. While they feel a new freedom from being released from their duties, the memories have not entirely faded. Additionally, the physical sacrifice of life that is requested for the gods is not out of the girls' minds who would be asked to fight with their lives.

When Mimori Tougou receives a visit from Taisha, immediately, she is unwilling to let her friends be pulled back into such a scarring event again. After learning that the situation with the Gods is again, dire Mimori discovers that the desired human sacrifice has been increased from one person to SIX people. Because of her incredibly advanced prowess, Mimori is understood to be powerful enough to be a single sacrifice in the place of the many. Without telling her comrades, she agrees, but on one condition. Her existence must be erased so that her friends don't have to feel sadness for her loss.

If the Hero Club saves her, what will be the repercussions of pulling a sacrifice from the gods? The season is taking its time with moving all the different characters into their setup. Though we are a few episodes in, it is currently unclear what the decisive battle of this series will be. If you are a Yuki Yuna fan, you will just have to wait to find out what adventures are coming for the Hero Club! These girls have had a lot of trials, and the season is far from over, so we know something big is on the horizon.
