Animals have gained special abilities thanks to magical fairies that posses the animals. In order to obtain this power for their own, humans began transplanting the organs of animals into the bodies of humans. Thanks to this procedure, humans have gained the ability to summon the fairies to fight alongside them. Ever since they gained this power, the fairy powered humans have been used to fight and turn the tides of war. Fairy Gone takes place nine years after the most recent war. A young girl named Marlya Noel Has just joined an organization called Dorothea that deals with fairy related crimes. Marlya must deal with politics, criminals, and fairy powered terrorists.

Out of all the anime, we are going to look at, Fairy Gone may just be the closest thing to Katsute Kami Datta Kemono-tachi e. The stories are very similar to the super-powered soldiers dealing with life after the war. We see Hank and the members of Dorothea have to deal with fighting against people they used to have as comrades. Another thing the two anime have in common are the characters of Nancy and Marlya. Both girls are unaware of things going on around them and we get to learn about everything that is going on through their eyes.

The world has been ravaged by creatures called Kabane. These creatures are able to easily rip through the flesh of humans and once they bite a human, they rise from the dead and join the ranks of the Kabane. Luckily, the Kabane's do have a weakness in their steel hearts. Ikoma is a young man who works on trains that transport people into protected cities. In his spare time, he has created a weapon that should be able to destroy the Kabane's hearts easily. Koutetsujou no Kabaneri follows the story of Ikoma and the other surveys as they struggle to fight for their lives.

Koutetsujou no Kabaneri and Katsute Kami Datta Kemono-tachi e are both about characters who are not only fighting against monsters but also against the clock. With Hank in Katsute Kami Datta Kemono-tachi e and Mumei and Ikoma in Koutetsujou no Kabaneri, they are able to use the powers of the monsters they are fighting, however, they know full well that this may one day lead to their demise. This sets up both anime with a similar style and themes to their stories. Both anime also have tons of action scenes and some fantastic dramatic moments along the way.

Mankind once sent algae and cockroaches to Mars in hopes of one day colonizing the planet. However, nobody could have predicted what would happen. 500 years later, the earth’s population is put in danger by a disease called the Alien Engine Virus and it is believed that the only cure is on mars. Unfortunately, Mars has been overrun by mutated cockroaches known as the Terraformars. In order to find obtain the cure the Annex I team is formed. Men and women from all over the world have been gathered and given special abilities to fight back against the Terraformars.

Terra Formars is sort of like a gory version of Katsute Kami Datta Kemono-tachi e. Although the stories don't share many similarities, the anime have similar setups. Both anime center around a group of individuals who are given the powers of animals and other various creatures in order to wage war. The action in both series gets a lot of attention and adds a bit of drama to the reasons behind the battles the main characters find themselves in. If you enjoyed the action in Katsute Kami Datta Kemono-tachi e, then Terra Formars is the perfect anime for you.

In the year 1930, a group of vampire hunters known as the Jaegers come to Japan to hunt down the vampires that have started to run amok throughout the country. The two groups not only find themselves in a battle for their lives, but they are also both trying to acquire a magical item called the Ark of Sirius. Yuliy is one of the Jaegers and has sworn to get revenge on the vampires for what they did to his village. However, things get complicated when Yuily learns that an old acquaintance of his is working alongside the vampires. Sirius the Jaeger follows Yuily and the Jaegers in their struggle against the evil vampires that plague the world.

The main thing that Sirius and Katsute Kami Datta Kemono-tachi e share in common are their action scenes. The action in both series is fast-paced and have the same sort of feeling. There is a balance both series find with their action showing off all of the cool powers everyone has, keeping everything interesting, and actually using the fights to progress the plot of the series. Outside of the action scenes, both series also have a similar visual style with their dark and dreary backgrounds along with colorful character designs.

With the help of a deadly virus, vampires have taken over the world. The only humans left alive were those under the age of 13 with most of them being captured and used by the vampires. A pair of orphans named Yuichiro and Mikaela are just two on may children that the vampires have taken. The boys devise a plan to escape from the vampires along with the other orphans, but things go terribly wrong and Yuichiro is the only one to escape alive. After his escape, Yuichiro runs into the Moon Demon Company and learns that the entire human population had not died off yet. Now, four years later, Yuichiro sets out to bring an end to the vampires as a member of the Moon Demon Company.

What makes Owari no Seraph and Katsute Kami Datta Kemonotachi e similar are the adventures Hank and Yuichiro go on. Hank and Yuichiro both find themselves on missions of revenge where they have to battle against close friends of theirs. They are also both cold and distant with only revenge on their minds. It isn't until they get new allies that we see them start to open up and find another purpose besides revenge. Along with the similarities between the main characters, Owari no Seraph and Katsute Kami Datta Kemonotachi e also both have some incredible scenes that are fun to watch and look great.

Humans have nearly been wiped out by gigantic monsters known as titans. With the threat of the titans and their thirst for human blood, the few humans left alive have been forced to live in cities surrounded by huge walls. Unfortunately, they learn that the walls don't always work when the titans invade their city and destroy everything in their path. Eren Yeager watched as the titans destroyed his home and his family, changing his life forever. With the tragic memories of that day, Eren and his adopted sister Mikasa Ackerman enlist in the Survey Corps in order to fight back against the titans. Shingeki no Kyojin follows the story of Eren, Mikasa, and their friend Armin Arlert, as they join the Survey Corps and hope to bring an end to the titans once and for all.

Shingeki no Kyojin and Katsute Kami Datta Kemono-tachi e have some major story aspects that give them a similar feeling. In both anime, the characters find themselves stuck in a world filled with fighting and have no choice but to fight against the monsters that are destroying their world. During their battles, they are continuously forced to watch their comrades die in front of them. This gives both Shingeki no Kyojin and Katsute Kami Datta Kemono-tachi e the same serious and dramatic stories as we watch Hank and the members Survey Corps continue to fight despite everything they are forced to go through. There is also a lot of bloody fight scenes in both series and a bunch of fun and interesting characters.
