Revisions is a sci-fi, shounen anime, revolving around Daisuke Toujima, a second-year high school student who was abducted when he was a child, and then saved by a person called Miro. Because of a special phenomenon called “Shibuya Drift”, Daisuke and his childhood friends Gai, Ru, Marimari, and Keisaku are sent 300 years to the future, in the center of Shibuya. There, they find a totally different environment, full of ruins, future citizens, and “Revisions” – huge, mechanical monsters. Provided of a mobile suit by a girl called Miro – exactly like the person who saved Daisuke in the past – the five friends are asked to save Shibuya... that's how their journey to make it back to their time begins! What's more, our protagonists have to face huge creatures – the titans, and the revisions – with particular, new weapons. 3. Buddy Complex

Aoba Watase is your average high school boy with a peaceful life. One day, back to school after summer break, his quiet life is suddenly turned upside down: a huge robot falls from the sky, and starts chasing after him. When he thinks he was about to die, Hina Yumihara – one of his classmates – appears in front of his eyes, in her giant robot, and rescues Aoba. She sends him 70 years to the future, where the Free Pact Alliance and the Zogilia Republic are at war with each other. After meeting a Valiancer pilot called Dio Weinberg, Aoba's new adventure begins!
Revisions and Buddy Complex are both mecha, sci-fi, shounen anime, full of action. Both Daisuke and Aoba are sent years forward in the future, with the purpose of solving a certain situation. Both of them are required to use a mobile suit, and both of them feel the responsibility to protect someone, which is the reason why they give their best. 4. Kakumeiki Valvrave (Valvrave the Liberator)

Haruto Tokishima and his friends live peacefully in space, in a division called Module 77. One day, one of the main powers – The Dorssian Military Pact Federation – decides to invade the nation of JIOR, and Haruto and his friends' lives drastically change. Some circumstances lead Haruto to become a Valvrave pilot, and following him, even some of his friends turn to become Valvrave pilots in order to help him against Dorssia. Haruto and his friends will be swept by hardships, losses, and struggles, without losing hope for a better future.
With Valvrave the Liberator we are once again in front of a show sharing with Revisions some important traits. In fact, both these shows are action-packed shounen anime, involving sci-fi elements, and mecha. Haruto is similar to Daisuke somehow, as both of them wish to protect their precious friends, acting a bit like the heroes, trying to fix the situation by themselves. If you liked Revisions for its Sci-Fi, mecha elements, and for the theme of true friendships, Valvrave the Liberator is a must-see.

5. Mugen no Ryvius (Infinite Ryvius)

It's the year AD 2225, and located on the edge of the Geduld Sea, there's the Liebe Delta, where Kouji Aiba and Aoi Housen are training as astronauts. One day, during a routine dive procedure, some enemies attack and the space station falls into the Geduld, killing all the adults onboard. Left alone, Kouji and Aoi must survive and face a long journey home. But the enemies are preparing another attack...
Revisions and Infinite Ryvius are both sci-fi anime, sharing some important themes. In fact, in both these shows we find teenagers who have to overcome a devastating situation they don't even understand. As teenager protagonists, they all will face moments of discomfort, and tensions that will eventually divide their groups. Even though Infinite Ryvius is more slow-paced and drama-oriented than Revisions, you'll find in it the same atmospheres you found in Revisions. You should totally give it a shot!
6. Bokurano (Bokurano: Ours)

15 friends – boys and girls – are enjoying summer camp together, until they discover a cave by the sea, and decide to enter the place. Upon stepping inside the mysterious grotto, they find a man called Kokopelli in a room full of computers. Kokopelli is developing a game involving giant robots, that have to protect the Earth from alien invasions, but since he wasn't able to test the game, he manages to convince the kids to become his testers. All but one of the children sign a contract with Kokopelli, and that's when the situation turns for the worst!
Revisions and Bokurano are Sci-Fi, mecha anime, but Bokurano is labeled as a seinen, so it's intended for a mature audience. Both these shows feature a group of young boys and girls, who get thrown in an entirely new situation. They have to adapt, and try to find a solution, but it will be a hard task. What's more, the characters of both these shows are asked to fight inside robots, against revisions, or aliens. All in all, you can consider Bokurano a more mature version of Revisions, so you should give it a try!
