- It seems like April 9th in Japan is quite the special day for a lot of people, especially those who love the Danganronpa franchise, from the beloved folks at Spike Chunsoft. 2020 marks the 10th anniversary of Danganronpa, which saw its debut back in November of 2010. The first title was Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc which received positive reviews from many critics around the world, which encouraged Spike Chunsoft to continue making sequels up until the more recent Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony in 2017.
- The official tweet above thanks all fans for taking part in the anniversary and that to celebrate the 10th anniversary, the team will be announcing some new developments in the series! They announced that next month, a live broadcast will delivered and that more details will come soon. What could this mean? A brand new Danganronpa title? Perhaps some remakes? Who knows, but we're totally ecstatic about the announcement because it means something is coming!
