Hold your horses. This is more comedy and lighthearted. Think maybe Rosario to Vampire but dial up the comedy and down the ecchi. So.... it's perfect for me! Also, the first episode is a one hour special!!!

The girls are young, so this might be like Ichigo Marshmallow meets supernatural creatures. So, cute girls talking about being supernatural and comedy. I kinda get an Anne-happy vibe with no bad luck. haha

Regardless, these girls need to be protected and I need to be the one to protect them.

Synopsis

Succubus, Dullahan, Yuki Onna and now a Vampire?! These creatures are a bit different from us as humans and are referred to as demi-humans. Recently though, they are called “demi”.

Now, these slightly different living beings, “demi”, are together in school with Tetsuo Takahashi, a high school teacher who has an abundant interest in these “demis”. This heartfelt, stimulating school comedy is about to unfold!

Three Episode Impression

Originally it seemed as if the demi girls would be the main characters in the series, and while they are prominent, the series is actually shot from the perspective of teacher Tetsuo Takahashi who is fascinated with the demi-human girls and demi-humans in general. The series focuses on Tetsuo not only learning about demi-humans, but also helping the girls learn more about themselves and making connections. Hikari is the vampire, Kyouko is the dullahan, Sakie is the succubus, and Yuki is the snow woman. Cute and fun, their interactions are actually humorous and bring a lot of life to the series. The best part of the series has been the moment when Kyouko’s body is with Hikari but Tetsuo is with Kyouko’s head. Hikari has her way with Kyouko including a nipple pushing scene, and it is very clear that that will be Kyouko’s gag line for a while. It is pure comedy gold watching and we have been made to laugh countless times. It does cross the line a bit with what is acceptable for a teacher and what is not, but it is clear that Tetsuo does approach the situation in a friendly manner with no ulterior motives. Definitely one of the best comedy anime this season!
