Major Similarities Between Isekai Shokudou and Shokugeki no Souma
1. People REALLY Like Food in Both Series.
Aletta likes learning about cooking and expanding her repertoire. She loves the food that the master is constantly making in Isekai Shokudou, too. Each week clientele are thrilled to eat more that he has made and it really shines. Meanwhile in Shokugeki no Souma, people are so enthralled with what they eat that their clothes literally rip off in ecstasy of their own volition. If your clothes do not rip themselves off your body or you explode in a giant expression of happiness when you are eating something, are you really enjoying what you are eating? Food for thought.
2. Easy to Get into Stories
The flow to Isekai Shokudou is so simple that it flows. Sure there is plot, but most of the episodes are one offs that have an overall story, but the individual stories of the characters are something that changes each time and is interesting to say the least. Shokugeki no Souma is like that, too. The story is great and moves at enough of a pace to let you in on all the fun and enjoy yourself. No heavy knowledge of the past episodes also helps.
3. It’s Literally for Foodies.
The great parts about both Isekai Shokudou and Shokugeki no Souma is how they cater to foodies. You get mouth watering food that honestly would make you want to commit a crime or lose a contest to eat. Each week is a new dish and you are almost rocking in your seat with anticipation to see how it turns out!

Rumor has it that there is a special izakaya, or Japanese pub, called Nobu in Kyoto, the old capital. Going through the door will not bring you to a regular pub, but rather to another world where you don’t know quite what or who is going to walk through the door. Customers come in to enjoy the delicious izakaya dishes and of course the beer. What more could you want?
Major Similarities Between Isekai Shokudou(Restaurant to Another World) and Isekai Izakaya: Koto Aitheria no Izakaya Nobu
1. Izakaya
Something one truly cannot grasp properly is the concept of an izakaya. Sure, they are in anime, but watching them be portrayed via translation and actually visiting one are completely different. Most izakaya menus overlap by about 80% meaning that wherever you go, you are bound to find or know something that you like. That is what these anime show us as they drive our hunger through the roof.
2. It’s Isekai Brah
Isekai 101 is have creatures of other worlds appear (after someone is transported there) and both anime do that quite well by bringing in all sorts of supernatural characters across a spectrum of universes. Dragons, Demons, Fairies, and more await the clientele and store staff. Can they manage to help satisfy all of these unique characters? Watch and find out!
