Keyaru, a boy born in poverty, who admires heroes and leads a simple, peaceful life was suddenly changed as he was identified to be the "Healing" hero by Jioral Kingdom's First princess, otherwise known as the "Magic" hero, Flare Arlgrande Jioral. He becomes a hero cheered by the villagers and sets out on a promising voyage.
However, unbeknownst to him, what lied ahead were days full of nightmares that could only be described as hellish.

Keyaru's "Recovery" allows him to absorb his target's pain and fear which becomes almost fatalistic when he gets drugged and is treated as Flare's healing tool. Moreover, he becomes a stress-relief punching bag for the "Sword" hero, Blade, and a sexual outlet for the "Cannon" hero, Brett, which ultimately leaves him crippled.

During a deciding battle in the conquest lead by the Demon King, Eve Reese, Keyaru suddenly turns on Flare and the group. Keyaru is able to escape from Flare's group and defeats the Demon King with his own hand. He attains the Philosopher's Stone and is able to utilize its power with his "Recovery" ability to turn back time.

He rewinds time to four years ago, before his travels and is determined to restore his life back to normal and exact revenge upon the heroes that persecuted him. In order to attain happiness, he sets out on a new journey.
