What You Need to Know:

  • A lot of wonderful news has been trickling in for the latest update to PUBG, and now we've been treated to some more care of the PUBG team. With Thursday's Game Awards right around the corner, which will be unveiling the new Desert Map to the world for the first time, the PUBG team decided to show off a new weapon after test severs went offline: The Sawed-Off Shotgun.
  • No details have been made about the specs pertaining to the weapons power, but we can be certain that if it's anything like the current shotgun lineup in PUBG it'll be a powerhouse.
  • No worries though as the team confirmed that players will be able to test out the brand new toy during the next test phase, which will also have the Desert Map readily available to try out as well. It seems like the month of December is surely about giving since we're now in the holiday season. According to some dataminers, two other weapons were discovered which are The Winchester 1894 Lever-Action Rifle along with the Rhino Revolver. Don't get excited about the latter two just yet since they haven't been officially confirmed by the team, but if it's within the data of the game there's a high chance we'll see them come 1.0's release.
  • We'll be keeping our eyes peeled for when new information drops, so be sure to keep it locked here on Honey's Anime when PUBG 1.0 releases! In the meantime, check out our other published articles for PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds!

That data-mining information sounds mighty tasty as well, especially the Winchester! That sniper is a beauty and can definitely hold its own against the current lineup.
