Haru is your 23-year-old former host, and Ren is a 15-year-old boy without family. The two of them met in Canada when Haru was 17-year-old, and they made a promise: one day they will live together in Japan! Since life is unpredictable, and things happen, because of some circumstances Haru forgets about Ren, so when Ren keeps up their promise and shows up in front of Haru, things turn for the worse! Their love is so pure, though, and it will be able to overcome all the hardships.

Haru and Ren are so attached to each other and their love is so tender that we had to put them on this list. Haru cares so much for Ren, that he doesn't want to spoil things by doing, or saying something wrong. But since Haru is an adult, and Ren is at his most sensitive age, they frequently misinterpret each other. What matters, though, is that love prevails over everything, so after saying sorry, they are all over each other once again, stronger than ever! We guess Haru would be so overjoyed receiving chocolate from Ren, he'd cry!

They will have to overcome a lot of hardships, but since their love is stronger than anything else, they'll do it somehow! With the right amount of comedy and drama, this couple is so cute and funny that it was obvious it had to be in here.

Kaito Tachibana meets Isuke Takaoka in front of the restaurant where he's working... It's love at first sight! There's only one problem: Kaito mistakes Isuke for a girl. When Isuke takes his resumee to Kaito asking to be hired there, Kaito realizes how “Isuke” is a very manly name. And so what it seemed to be the fated person of his life, turned out to be a whimsical, moody and hot-tempered boy who can't shut up. Overcoming that shock, Kaito begins to act like his guardian and in the end, when due to some circumstances they start to live together, love strikes!

This is a perfect couple that had to be mentioned in this list. Kaito and Isuke share a relationship that depicts the reality as it is. If Ohayou to Oyasumi to Sono Ato ni wasn't enough for a slice of life manga, we can give you some sort of power up and make it even nearer to reality! Misaburou Hanabishi – Mii-kun – and Keiichi Sawada – Kei-chan – are childhood friends. While Mii-kun has always been in love with Kei-chan, Kei-chan was straight to begin with. Sadly, life happens, and what you gave for granted until yesterday, disappears before your eyes. Mii-kun and Kei-chan's lives separate and they will meet once again in Tokyo, years after, finally ready to live their love... Maybe!

Haruko Kumota is amazing when it's about depicting a relationship in all its aspects and hardships. For Mii-kun and Kei-chan she didn't spare tragedy, failures, pain, but on the other side she didn't spare tender moments, love, and comedy parts as well. Mii-kun and Kei-chan's relationship is simply amazing. They don't hide, even when the truth can hurt the other, on the contrary they try to understand the other's point of view and be understanding. This couple is a perfect fit for Valentine's, as these two can convey a lighthearted feeling full of love and at the same time touch your deepest chords with consideration.

Let's end this ranking with this wonderful anime and the golden couple who were a revelation for the fans around the world! Since Yuri!!! on ICE's tags didn't mention “yaoi”, nor “shounen-ai”, no one would have guessed it, and so everyone focused on the sport – figure skating.
