A short anime sitting at only eight minutes per episode, Okusama ga Seitokaichou’s intense ecchi antics came as a bit of a surprise given that shorts often don’t have sizable production budgets. Okusama ga Seitokaichou puts protagonist Izumi Hayato in the dream-like scenario of having cute student council president Ui Wakana declare herself his wife, and promptly move into his apartment.

With one of the opening scenes featuring Ui showering students with condoms, it becomes quickly obvious what to expect of Okusama ga Seitokaichou. Although not exactly story heavy, the show features several very cute and lovable girls, all prime for ending up in awkward and embarrassing situations. If you’re running low on time, Okusama ga Seitokaichou is a great way to get your ecchi fix in under 10 minutes and given its short duration you almost may as well give it a shot.

As an ecchi anime based around demons, any fans of High School DxD will find themselves in familiar territory around Shinmai Maou no Testament, and you can expect much of the same big breasted devils and over the top action. Shinmai Maou no Testament sees Basara Toujou receiving the wonderful gift of two new stepsisters, whilst his father conveniently goes away on a business trip. Of course everything isn’t quite as it seems and Basara quickly finds both himself and his new sisters in some quite sticky situations, both literally and metaphorically.

In many ways Shinmai Maou is quite vanilla, but it's the lengths that it goes to that make it stand out, and as Basara sits there getting his sister off you find yourself wondering where it’s going to draw the line. Honestly the only reason I wouldn't rate Shinmai Maou higher is that the budget feels a bit low, but in terms of story, action and mostly importantly fan service, the series does a fine job.

A world where not only are some people capable of literally becoming weapons, but can only do so by becoming sexually aroused? Seems reasonable. Valkyrie Drive: Mermaid focuses on “mermaid” Mamori and her Liberator partner Mirei as they engage in relentlessly erotic battles, along with various other weapon-cum-girls, in what is one of the most ridiculous and fantastic ecchi shows of 2015.

Valkyrie Drive Mermaid is one of those fun shows that has no shame using the laziest reasons for ecchi fanservice, not that we necessarily mind. Why do they need to be aroused to turn into weapons? Who cares, don’t ask questions, that’s not what we’re here for. We’re here for the juicy yuri fanservice and crazy fights.

The sequel to Grisaia no Kajitsu, Grisaia no Rakuen carries on the story of Yuuji Kazami, the only male student at Mihama Academy, a prison-like school where only he and 5 female students are enrolled. Adapted from a visual novel, Grisaia no Rakuen is one of the more plot heavy series on this list, so it's highly recommended you watch the prequel first, unless you enjoy being thoroughly lost.

Grisaia no Rakuen isn't as consistent with it's ecchi as some other shows on this list, but it provides excellent quality content. Grisaia's strong points are it's pretty panties and delicious zettai ryouiki, in what you could debatably call classy fan service. Additionally there are some excellent suggestive scenes, that leave very little to the imagination. Although it's known to have some pacing issues, Grisaia no Rakuen is excellent if you want some drama and plot to go with your fan service.

Imagine if whenever you saw a girls panties you accidentally destroyed the earth, because that is the reality that Yuuta Iridatsu is living. A surprisingly complex story, it's hard to say much about Punch Line without giving away spoilers, but you're in for a whole lot of whacky, and some great action.

One thing Punchline does very well is casual fan service. You won’t get as much of the in your face, falling over into girls chests stuff, but a whole lot of girls walking about with a lack of clothing and random up-skirt shots. Despite that, Punchline goes for the super elaborate, frills and lace underwear, which with the bright and energetic art style are very nice to look at. The show also maintains a level of innocence which is unusual to ecchi shows and makes the whole experience quite refreshing.

Another addition to the High School DxD series, BorN sees us back following Issei Hyoudou and the rest of the Occult Research Club. This time cute kitty devil Koneko is having some family related difficulties, with the return of her surprisingly well-endowed sister who's causing quite a stir amongst the devils.

If you’ve watched it before, you know exactly what to expect from High School DxD BorN. Look forward to more aggressive advances on poor Issei, with boobs falling everywhere and elaborate lingerie. High School DxD is shameless in its use of ecchi and that’s why we love it: it’s consistent, good quality, and a must watch for any ecchi fan.

A world where ecchi and fanservice are no more, to improve the morals and order in Japan, a ban on coarse language and all things sex related is now harshly enforced throughout the country. But never fear, for there is hope in the form of lewd terrorist organization SOX, who are dedicated to spreading the perverse and obscene throughout society once again, and it just so happens that protagonist Tanukichi Okuma is their newest recruit.

Shimoneta starts off a bit slow but picks up quickly turning into one of the craziest ecchi shows of the year. Frequently swapping from light-hearted sex jokes to full on sweating, heaving ecchi scenes at the flick of a switch, Shimoneta is adept at keeping you on your toes. Not only that, but the amusing and fresh plot make it interesting for more than just fan service.

After their discovery three years ago, mythical monsters have begun assimilating into our everyday society, and Kimihito Kurusu, being a very fortunate gentleman, is part of the process. Being charged with the care of lamia girl Miia, Kimihito quickly finds himself overwhelmed with the addition of a harpy, a centaur, and more in need of his assistance, and living space.

The holy grail of animal girl lovers, in many respects Monster Musume is a fairly standard ecchi show, filled with the same tropes and personalities you'd expect to find in any other show. But with the monster girls ramped up to levels never before seen, the show feels very fresh, with amusing and unexpected situations keeping Monster Musume interesting throughout. Even if you've never given much thought to monster girls before, jumping in at the deep end with Monster Musume is an excellent choice.

Another sequel on the list, To Love-Ru Darkness 2nd provides the same high quality ecchi as it's prequel, and still has a terrible habit of putting poor Yuuki Rito and the girls into the most awkward situations possible. This time we start to learn more about shapeshifter Nemesis and her connection to adorable assassin's Yami and Mea.

With such a large cast, from the bouncy and excitable genius Lala, to kuudere, loli assassin Yami, it's easy to find at least one girl you like amongst them. To Love-Ru's structure of focusing on one or two girls for half of each episode, rather than long arcs spanning multiple episodes, means you're never stuck on one character for too long which keeps things interesting.
The show straddles the line between delicious ecchi and full on hentai with grace, providing straight-up excellent fan service throughout each episode. A great recommendation to both veterans of the genre and those just starting down the perverse path.

At Hachimitsu Private Academy, an elite school for girls, an old tradition has gone out the window and for the first time, boys are being allowed to enroll. In any ordinary anime, this would be the perfect harem situation for Kiyoshi Fujino, but the girls here have some very different ideas.

Prison School is hardcore, there's no doubt about that. From the S&M style punishments dished out to the public urination, it's not for the faint hearted, but for the true ecchi lovers. Interestingly the show features exclusively big chested girls with incredible thighs, which considering the usual norms of younger looking and loli style characters in current ecchi shows, is quite refreshing. Prison School is dirty, vulgar, and there's something about watching it that makes you feel a little bit disgusting, but a good, satisfying kind of disgusting.
