Game programmer Suzuki Ichirou passes out while working only to wake up as the character Satou inside the game he was just slaving away on. Not quite sure what’s going on, he begins to explore this new world and discovers it matches up with just about every one of his expectations. Using his understanding of the inner workings of the game, Satou aids many of the inhabitants while searching for clues as to how he got there and a way to go back.

Satou and Shin have a lot in common with their previous lives in the real world. They were both underappreciated and overworked, but now they’re using their skill sets to become incredibly powerful in their new worlds. We don’t see anything wrong with this strategy. If you have to be isekai’d you might as well profit from it.
