Kaymin is the country where all humans live and Princess Syalis is a member of the royal family. The demon king refers to her only as her title “princess” but by the people she is called “Princess Syalis”. She is held hostage in the demon castle, but her prison is quite a good one in terms of providing her with food, clothing et cetera. She ends up having way too much time on her hands however, and she sets out to try to find a way to get a good night’s sleep.

He is the demon who kidnapped the princess. He claims that he can, and will bring all the power divided between humans and demons into his own hands, but in reality the thing he’s most interested in are those that you, in a RPG, would refer to as “event flags” “combat balance” and “game balance”. Thus, he is doing everything he can to make it difficult for the hero, Akatsuki to reach him and he's consistently making use of his hobby to make sure there are no failures/setbacks.

He’s the demon who’s the top of the area within the demon castle that’s referred to the “demon church”. He looks like a gentle and calm young boy, but he’s in fact much older than even the demon king. He has a position within the castle that’s equal to the demon king, and ever since the princess came to the castle he’s been incredibly busy. Ever since her arrival, deaths have skyrocketed in the castle, so he’s had to work on revivals nonstop, bringing him to the edge of total exhaustion.

He is the hero who has set out to save the princess. He has a history of feats and is very trusted by the people of Kaymin. He’s also the princess’ fiance, however she hates him to the point where she won’t even remember his name.
