With Tooru staying home while Kobayashi and Kanna go to work and school, she has gotten a little bored. Luckily for her, she takes up a part-time job… at a maid café! Kobayashi wastes no time letting her inner maid-otaku out, but she and Kanna have fun while they visit. They might not last very long, but there are new personal adventures in the lives of our favorite dragons! Other current experiences include Kobayashi getting male "parts" for a few days and the obsession that is Tooru trying to find a hobby.

A new season means new dragons! If you remember how Tooru is a Chaos faction dragon, Ilulu comes from a more extreme part of that group. She hates humans more than Tooru ever did, and she has NO knowledge of how to function in the human world (check the photo here of her being shown how to use the bathroom). Still, in the back of her mind, she is open to questioning why she hates humans and considering whether or not they could be friends.

This new season has a similar opening and ending to the first season, with the theme songs being catchy little tunes with group singing on the chorus. The animation for the opening still shows all the characters we will see in this season. Also, like season one, there are ending clips that have nothing to do with the main episodes and the post-ending song clip that teases what the next episode will be. It has been a few years since Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Main first came out, so it is not surprising that there are improvements in the animation style. So far, there seem to be more fight scenes than in season one, and the magic looks way better!
