Get a Scorpio in Your Life

5. Mary Hunt, from Otome Game no Hametsu Flag shika Nai Akuyaku Reijou ni Tensei shiteshimatta... (My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!)

  • Birthday: November 4

First up is Mary Hunt! Mary is a Character who was never supposed to come into contact with Katarina, but the two of them bond over their love for farming and gardening. Instead of falling for the character she was supposed to, she develops feelings for the story’s villainess instead. (This is our favorite pansexual anime!!) Mary is elegant in appearance, but like a Scorpio, she is goal-oriented and a bit of a schemer. She also has a commanding presence and speaks her mind, which is also a prominent Scorpio trait.

4. Retsuko, from Aggressive Retsuko (Aggretsuko)

  • Birthday: November 6

Oh, what a Scorpio Retsuko is! This office worker spends her days trying to deal with frustrating workloads and maddening situations at work professionally. After work, she screams her heart out at karaoke to death metal that speaks to her soul. Restuko has two modes: cute and professional, or rage-y and aggressive. This Scorpio is intelligent, goal-oriented, and expressive but choosy with when she does that. She comes off as a sweet and soft-spoken, overtime-working contributor to the office. Inside though, she has a temper and needs to let off steam by screaming metal after office hours.

3. Kagura, from Gintama

  • Birthday: November 3

Kagura is one of the Odd Jobs employees in Gintama. Though she looks sweet and petite, Kagura packs a punch harder than anyone else. Kagura comes from an alien race from another planet. She is so naturally powerful her strength cannot be matched, and she is constantly doing everything she can not to overpower everything she comes into contact with on Earth. This lion in sheep’s clothing is a loyal friend and an open book. She can be petty with her emotions and very stubborn, but these are all things we love about her, too.

2. Derieri, from Nanatsu no Taizai: Imashime no Fukkatsu (The Seven Deadly Sins: Revival of the Commandments)

  • Birthday: October 30

This elite demon of the Ten Commandments, Derieri of Purity, is a force to be reckoned with. So confident and powerful that she has no need or interest for armor or clothing, she does her fighting completely naked, except where demonic power covers one leg, one arm, and those bits she needs to be covered to be seen on Netflix. Derieri experiences betrayal and real hardship, but like her Scorpio nature, she does not roll over or play dead. She makes a new choice on which side she wants to fight for and uses her considerable strength against those who killed her sister.

1. Noelle Silva, from Black clover

  • Birthday: November 15

At the number one spot on this list is Noelle Silva! This Clover Kingdom Royal is a Scorpio through and through. As the only member of the Silva royal family who could not control her magic, she found herself assigned to the lowest rank of Magic Knights. Though she hurt her pride and found herself excluded from her family, this did not stop her from wanting to achieve and better herself.

Though her challenging experiences and royal upbringing often cause her to be blunt and sharp-tongued, self-betterment is where the Scorpio-and Noelle- flourish. With continuous effort and ambition to control her magic that can’t be defeated, she has gone from a reject of her royal family to being one of the most powerful people in her entire kingdom. She fights for her friends and has a brave heart.

Scorpio females are interesting in their own right. They are brave and passionate but can be exceedingly stubborn. These are loyal people who you will look to for guidance. A Scorpio will likely stand out in a room because they are very comfortable with who they are and will go to the ends of the earth for their friends and loved ones. On the flip side, people born under the Scorpio sign can be distrusting and secretive. They can even resort to violence as their first impulse of anger which can make them rather unsteady and temperamental individuals. Scorpios need to keep this in mind in order to control their worst impulses, and if they do then this is one of the most admirable and resourceful signs out there.

In this article we will be examining anime characters that are born under the zodiac sign which means birthdays between October 23rd and November 21st. We are able to analyze these characters because of their history and the amount of work that the creators not only put into the anime but into the characters themselves. Along with this, we are able to appreciate the characters more and delve more deeply into their development and personalities. Anime is an art form that is very unique and to fully appreciate it we bring you articles like this so that you can understand the complexity behind this entertaining and exciting art form that we all come together to enjoy.

10. Trista Meioh (Sailor Pluto) from Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon S (Sailor Moon S)

  • Air Date: March 1994 - February 1995

This brainy student is no ordinary civilian, her secret identity as Sailor Pluto extends her thinking far past her school work. Trista is an extremely loyal friend who will stop at nothing to save those she cares about. Throughout the anime Trista is the symbol of self-sacrifice and while it may appear excessive at some points, she overall deems it necessary for the safety of those she loves as well as the safety of the future. Trista is an admirable Scorpio but falls to the bottom of our list because of her lack of negative aspects that are unique to the Scorpio sign.

9. Subaru Saotome from Kaichou wa Maid-sama! (Maid Sama!)

  • Episodes: 26
  • Air Date: April 2010 - September 2010

Subaru is the ultimate employee; she chooses not to focus on gossip and rumors and doesn’t participate in any of the drama at work. Subaru is serious and knows that her living is coming from Maid Latte so she must do whatever she can to make it succeed. Her independent personality is very reminiscent of her Scorpio sign and she proves to be a true friend when she is needed most. However, she does not exhibit any of the negative traits of the zodiac and chooses to stick to facts rather than becoming secretive and jealous. These traits put her towards the bottom of our list.

8. Hinano Kurahashi from Ansatsu Kyoushitsu (Assassination Classroom)

  • Episodes: 22
  • Air Date: January 2015 - June 2015

Hinano is very happy and almost giddy in everything that she does, whether it be school work or assassination she does it with a smile on her face. She seeks friendship from everyone in the class but is rather dim-witted and occasionally gets used for her good-naturedness. Hinano is extraordinarily resourceful which comes in handy for class 3-E and helps them on their road to destroying their beloved teacher. These traits put her on our list of Scorpios but do not earn her a high ranking.

7. Maho Hiyajo from Steins;Gate 0

  • Episodes: 23
  • Air Date: April 2018 - September 2018

Despite being an adult, Maho is often mistaken as a child. This misunderstanding causes her much anger and frustration which can often lead to her lashing out at those around her. She holds deep respect for her colleagues, and for Makise Kurisu in particular. As deeper feelings pop up between her and Okabe Rintaro, she looks to her friends for help. Maho is brave in her own right but is not the prime example of the Scorpio that we are looking for. However, this does not stop her from being an admirable character in our hearts.

6. Rio Futaba from Seishun Buta Yarou wa Bunny Girl Senpai no Yume wo Minai (Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai)

  • Episodes: 13
  • Air Date: October 2018 - December 2018

Her split image of herself made her actually split into two entirely different individuals as a result of the Adolescent Syndrome. She analyzed the symptoms of herself as well as those around her to come up with logical conclusions as to why it was happening. Rio is resourceful and stubborn when it comes to her science, true makings of a strong Scorpio. However, she fails to exhibit any of the more negative aspects and earned herself a spot in the middle of our list. Her innate feeling of always wanting to be right and staying true to her friends put her above others on our list.

5. Kyouka Izumi from Bungou Stray Dogs (Bungo Stray Dogs)

  • Episodes: 12
  • Air Date: April 2016 - June 2016

Kyoka’s personality starts as flat and violent. As she is used strictly for a weapon she knows no kindness or humanity. Upon meeting Atsushi and being introduced to the real world, her personality begins to blossom. She is given purpose through the Armed Detective Company and is no longer left to regret her previous mistakes. Her past experience makes her brave and resourceful but because of her newfound personality, she can be distrusting and jealous of new people. These traits make her an ideal Scorpio character.

4. Mikako Satsukitane from Sora no Otoshimono (Heaven’s Lost Property)

  • Episodes: 13
  • Air Date: October 2009 - December 2009

While Mikako may look innocent from the outside, she is anything but. As president of the student council and heiress of a Yakuza family, Mikako has a great deal of influence in all aspects of her life. She is incredibly intelligent and resourceful which makes her all the more dangerous. Her uncanny ability to be sneaky and secretive make her a perfect Scorpio that calls upon her darker traits to have the greatest amount of influence possible. These traits put her high on our list, but she is definitely no character to model yourself after.

3. Chi-Chi from Dragon Ball Z

  • Episodes: 291
  • Air Date: April 1989 - January 1996

As the princess of Fire Mountain, Chi-Chi was well on her way to being Goku’s wife. Her personality is fierce and she has the violent tendencies that are often seen in Scorpios. While she is brave and passionate, she can become secretive and jealous easily due to her fiery personality. The jealousy that she holds on to shines through in almost every scene and makes her distrusting and suspicious of every person who is friends with Moka. On the flip side, Kokoa is brave to the point of stupidity and extremely stubborn earning her a high spot on our list.

1. Miia from Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou (Monster Musume: Everyday Life with Monster Girls)

Despite this jealousy, she becomes somewhat of a mother figure to those in the house and a true friend to all who live with her. These traits are a perfect representation of a Scorpio and earn her a top spot on our list.

Final Thoughts

Scorpios are definitely characters that have potential. Their friendship and love is sought after by many that admire their tendency to be brave and passionate. However, if they do not balance their negative traits, their loved ones can be in trouble and they can potentially ruin their relationship. It is important for individuals born under all signs to know their weaknesses and balance them accordingly, this will make you the best version of yourself. The females listed here are not necessarily the best characters but the ones that represent their sign well. Their inability to balance their positive and negative traits puts them high on the list but we may be looking to the lower ones for inspiration and guidance.
