Anime That a Scorpio Would Watch [Updated]

Those with the Scorpio sign are in many ways like modern-day warriors who refuse to give up in the face of opposition and show just how brave they can be! That’s why those who are Scorpio should enjoy anime with characters that embody their amazing personalities. We examined several anime not too long ago that would be perfect for those who are Scorpios but we’ve found even more series to check out! Even if you aren’t a Scorpio, you’ll still want to check these series out if you somehow missed out on them!

5. Shinchou Yuusha: Kono Yuusha ga Ore Tuee Kuse ni Shinchou Sugiru (Cautious Hero: The Hero is Overpowered but Overly Cautious)

Scorpios are tough and ambitious but they can also be extremely stubborn and a bit too honest. One anime with a main character that screams these Scorpio traits is Seiya Ryuuguuin from Cautious Hero: The Hero is Overpowered by Overly Cautious. This comedy isekai will make you laugh from beginning to end as you see possible Scorpio stereotypes in the main hero and think, yeah that’s how my one friend acts too! We love you Scorpios out there but remember to occasionally be too headstrong and stubborn!

4. Re:Zero kara Hajumeru Isekai Seikatsu (Re:Zero: Starting Life in Another World)

If you were an anime hero that died, resurrected, died, and repeated that same process a hundred times, would you just give up? If you’re a Scorpio, then absolutely not and if you’re Subaru Natsuki, then definitely not! Re:Zero is pretty well known in the anime community as being one of the best isekai ever created but we still have a few anime viewers who somehow missed out on watching it believe it or not. That’s why we encourage all Scorpios out there to binge both seasons of Re:Zero and see if you can relate to Subaru and his drive to save his friends, his loved ones and survive to see a better tomorrow!

3. Jujutsu Kaisen

Shounen series tend to have characters who love to fight and are determined to become stronger to either save the world or save their friends, sometimes both. Jujutsu Kaisen has not one but several characters who feel like Scorpios as they seek power to help others and stop evil! There’s a reason why Jujutsu Kaisen has been considered one of the best shounen series of recent history so even if you weren’t born under the sign of Scorpio, you shouldn’t miss watching this incredible anime!

2. Tokyo Revengers

We don’t condone being in a gang but we have to admit Scorpios tend to embody the traditional gang personality of being loyal and determined. Case in point, the MC from Tokyo Revengers—Takemichi Hanagaki—might be a bit of a crybaby but he’s a Scorpio in terms of personality. The main idea behind Tokyo Revengers is one man trying to change the future and to do that he must dive into his troubling past and face off against foes ten times stronger than himself. Tokyo Revengers was a hit series in 2021 and if you check it out, you’ll understand why!

1. Vinland Saga

Living during the Viking age required bravery, determination, loyalty, and ambition and look at that, Vinland Saga’s main lead Thorfinn embodies all of these traits! Vinland Saga follows a young Viking man and his quest for revenge despite so much adversity facing him. Vinland Saga is not only a beautiful anime—the animation in it is fantastic—but we loved the characters and narrative so much that we have possibly re-watched it a few times already. If you want to see several Scorpio traits all within one anime then you’ll no doubt love Vinland Saga!

When it comes to searching for the next series to watch, everyone's selection process is different. As we check the daily horoscopes for some guidance, we come across signs that give us a helpful direction to our next choice. A Scorpio may find an anime appealing if it has a character that is strong-willed because that is one of their traits. Scorpios are also intelligent, driven and passionate. In the limelight, a Scorpio effortlessly knows how to stand out in the crowd, charming anyone who pays attention. Unfortunately, a Scorpio can be ruthless climbing towards success and will not share their thoughts so willingly.

The duration of Scorpio is from October 23 – November 21. Scorpio's element is Water so people under this sign can be described as fluid, flowing, and wavering, especially when it comes to their emotions. Scorpio's symbol is a Scorpion and its stinger. The scorpion's characteristics show that it is powerful, intense, and controlling. Scorpios are goal chasers, perhaps obsessive when it comes to causes worth fighting for. A Scorpio can seem intimidating, but underneath the secrecy, they're very loyal and dedicated.

With that being said, we at Honey's want to share what we believe people under the Scorpio sign would watch. We've got some interesting titles for you!

1. Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! (KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World!)

  • Episodes: 10
  • Aired: Jan 14, 2016 to Mar 17, 2016

Kazuma Satou is a young and reclusive teenager who suffers a most embarrassing death. Upon arriving in the afterlife, he meets a deity named Aqua who provides the option of being transported to a fantasy world rather than reincarnated in the old one. Given the option to bring one thing with him, Kazuma opts to take Aqua herself. Yet upon their arrival, he uncovers how tragically unskilled she is. Now they are bound together to succeed in this new world.

The curiosity of Scorpios is immeasurable, they are skilled at the art of investigating. Scorpios’ desire to get to the bottom of things heightens because they want to be in control of their destiny. KonoSuba is a humorous adventure and fantasy isekai anime. Scorpios don't know the meaning of the word "quit" and that means they often have successful outcomes.

2. Hai to Gensou no Grimgar (Grimgar: Ashes and Illusions)

  • Episodes: 12
  • Aired: January 2016 – March 2016

Hai to Gensou no Grimgar accounts the tale of a group of strangers who, without any recollection of their prior lives, are stranded with the resolve of participating as soldiers in the Reserve Army. Their responsibility in this battle is to eliminate any threat to their new world called Grimgar. Unfamiliar with their surroundings and forced to become warriors, their gamelike environment becomes a real life-or-death situation when our soldiers are dealt with no do-overs or game reset.

Grimgar portrays the elements of beauty and despair as our characters are depicted heroically and virtuously. Scorpios may find this anime to their liking because their strengths include determination, passion, and motivation. Grimgar offers a unique story followed by a riveting message to ponder on. As such, the Scorpio’s inquisitive nature will enjoy this series.

3. Kaze no Tani no Nausicaä (Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind)

  • Episodes: 1
  • Aired: March 11, 1984

Taking place in the distant future, Kaze no Tani no Nausicaä captures the story of a civilization still suffering from the aftershock of a nuclear catastrophe. Although a resilient society, the result of the "Seven Days of Fire" remains threatening to their world because the ecosystem has drastically transformed the region into a destructive force bent on consuming the rest of humanity. At the edge of this dangerous jungle rests a peaceful farming kingdom known as the "Valley of the Wind." Kind and captivating, Princess Nausicaä is hard at work trying to keep hostiles at bay, in all forms, for her Valley to remain undisturbed and tranquil.

Loyal and unafraid, Scorpios would align with Princess Nausicaä. Their resourcefulness comes in handy as the setting shows that the world she lives in is emerging from instability. Being adaptable comes in handy for Scorpios, especially when something so catastrophic has occurred.

4. JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken Part 5: Ougon no Kaze (Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind)

  • Episodes: 29
  • Aired: October 2018 – July 2019

The JoJo's Bizarre Adventure series starts with Dario Brando saving George Joestar, a nobleman. When Dario passes, his son Dio is fatherless, and George feels obligated to take him in. However, Dio is unsatisfied with his life. In an attempt to make himself feel better, Dio plans to take the Joestar estate.

Shifting to Part 5: Golden Wind, the year is 2001 in Naples, Italy. We are introduced to Giorno, Dio's son. Even though he looks like a thug, Giorno doesn't like to associate with gangsters and that scene. In fact, Giorno led a great cause that resulted in the dissolution of Italy's largest gang, Passione. Operating from the inside, Giorno fights the mafia in hope that the streets can finally be cleared of criminals. Friends under Scorpio would find Giorno's heroics admirable because he's the "bad villain" turned "good guy hero." Giorno sets an extremely difficult goal to accomplish, but he does so with gusto because he knows he's going to succeed, fighting all sorts of people possessing a Stand. In Golden Wind, we learn that a Scorpio can be your bestie or worst enemy.

Final Thoughts

Forthright and honest, Scorpios are always able to say exactly what's on their mind! However, Scorpio or not, what do you think? Do you agree or disagree with our picks? We would love to hear your ideas! Thanks and see ya!
