With such a ridiculous concept for a sport, you’d think that Keijo would be nothing but an absurd comedy. Although Keijo is hilarious, it can get pretty intense. You root for the characters as they use their special technique to defeat their opponent. It may take a while to get past the outrageous sport, but soon, your body will be filled with adrenaline as you get pumped for each match.

3. Sekai de Ichiban Tsuyoku Naritai! (Wanna Be The Strongest In The World!)

  • Aired: Oct 2013 to Dec 2013

Sweet Diva is a famous idol group, with Sakura and Elena as the leaders. On a strange day, Elena is attacked by female pro wrestler Kazama Rio, and is sent to the hospital. Sakura, on the other hand, isn’t a dainty little girl. She decides to become a pro wrestler to avenge Elena. But before she can get to Rio, Sakura has to defeat many other pro wrestlers.

In Killing Bites, men and women infused with enhanced animal abilities are thrown into a cage match. Wanna Be The Strongest In The World is all about the WWE style matches. All while seeing a few crotch shots and nip slips. We all love a good girl gone bad story. This anime takes it up a notch by giving us a fighting idol heroine. This is one of those series that you didn’t know you wanted until watching the first episode. Call us crazy for watching sexy babes toss each other in the ring, but we can’t help it when the anime is so entertaining.

4. Asobi ni Iku yo! (Cat Planet Cuties)

  • Episodes: 12
  • Aired: Jul 2010 to Sept 2010

Eris comes from a planet where the inhabitants look human, but have tails and cat ears. She’s here to learn more about humans and their everyday behavior. Eris takes a liking to high school boy, Kio, and decides to live with him. Having a personal cat girl sounds nice, right? Unfortunately, having Eris arounds means that Kio will come across even more humanoid animal organizations. And not all them have good intentions.

Finally, we get to an anime about furries. If you’re a furry enthusiast, or cat girl lover in general, then Cat Planet Cuties is perfect for you. While Killing Bites isn’t exactly a harem, it does have a male lead who gets involved in sticky situations with furry babes. Cat Planet Cuties is a harem anime, with the ladies ranging from dogs to cats. At first, the anime seems like your average harem, but the later half of the series delves into a full fledged war between the dog and cat girls. You got your fights, plus your furries, so what more could you ask for?

5. Freezing

  • Episodes: 12
  • Aired: Jan 2011 to Apr 2011

The world is being destroyed bit by bit thanks to the alien race known as Novas. In order to save humanity, academies are created to train students to defeat the Novas. The females, known as Pandoras, deal most of the heavy damage. The men, known as Limiters, provide support for their assigned Pandora. One of the most powerful Pandoras in the school is Satellizer el Bridget, nicknamed The Untouchable Queen, she continues to win without the help of a Limiter. But when Limiter in training Kazuya Aoi enrolls, Satellizer begins to have a change of heart.

Killing Bites often has the challengers’ clothes rip off during battle. Whether it be from transforming into their animal selves, or from fighting, the clothes always seem to tear like paper. This is the highlight of Freezing. And if you find an uncensored copy, you’re in for a real treat. Unlike the previous series mentioned, Freezing is a seinen anime that can get pretty dark at times. If you’re uncomfortable with mature themes like rape, then this anime is not for you. Similar to Killing Bites, Freezing is violent, and the characters shed a lot of blood. If you’d like a more serious version of Killing Bites, Freezing should at the top of your “must watch” list.

6. Rosario to Vampire (Rosario + Vampire)

  • Episodes: 13
  • Aired: Jan 2008 to Mar 2008

Bumbling idiot, Tsukune somehow makes it into high school. What he doesn’t know is that he got accepted into a high school for monsters. At first, Youkai Academy looks like a normal high school. But that’s because the first rule is to never reveal your monster form. Tsukune (literally) runs into Moka, a cute but clueless vampire, who didn’t know about the rule. With Tsukune’s human scent, he constantly attracts the attention of almost every student at the academy. But if Tsukune breaks the rosary from Moka’s neck, she’ll turn into her true vampire form and beat up anyone who’s trying to kill him.

We end our list with the classic monster girl anime, that’s famous for having a panty shot in almost every frame. Rosario + Vampire is an episodic anime where you have a cute and funny scenario with Tsukune and the girls, with the last few minutes turning into a battle. Or should we say beat down, as full vampire Moka can win any fight. If you’re ok with the simplistic and repetitive pattern, then Rosario + Vampire will be an easy watch. The anime also gets creative with the monster girls. Besides the standard vampire, you have succubi, witches, snow women, mermaids, lamias, and werewolves. If you haven’t seen the monster girl anime that started the monster girl trend, then you have to watch it now.
