Major Similarities Between Konohana Kitan and Sewayaki Kitsune no Senko-san (The Helpful Fox Senko-san)
1. Working Mystical Beings
For both Yuzu and Senko-san, the hard work they do every day makes them happy, especially as they are providing happiness for others. Though they both are mystical beings, their life spent in service to others is all they could ever want, as long as they have a place and people to return to. Senko-san and Yuzu are hardworking, and they do it all for the people they care about!
2. Pure, Kindhearted Main Characters
Konohana Kitan focuses on Yuzu and her kind, happy personality as she goes about her job with a pleasantness that everyone else is immediately drawn to. When anyone loves what they do, it is evident in the way they carry themselves at work! This goes for Senko-san as well, as she is also driven by the kindhearted intent to make Nakano’s life easier however she can. We know that both of these sweet girls will not be easily forgotten, even long after you’ve finished their respective anime!
3. Calming Vibe
Along with her cheerful disposition, Yuzu manages to give off a calming effect, not only for the visitors to the hot springs and her coworkers but for viewers as well. Her easygoing and happy approach to the everyday moments allows us to look at our own life with a little more appreciation. Senko-san has a very similar personality and calming presence, which we see evident through Nakano’s feeling of being refreshed around her. Though we may not have our own Yuzu or Senko-san to take care of us, simply watching them go about their tasks can help us viewers relax as well!

Major Similarities Between Konohana Kitan and Hitoribocchi no Marumaru Seikatsu
1. Funny Moments in the Calm
