Senki Zesshou Symphogear XV– Introduction and Story

In the fifth and final season of the Symphogear saga, the story continues as the world is free from “Noise” and destruction. We pick up where we left off the previous season following the defeat of Adam Weishuapt and the Bavarian Illuminati. The girls of the Special Disaster Response Team make their way to Antarctica where they discover the corpse of Custodian. These god-like entities were a testament of Weishuapt’s final research.

This event also coincides with encountering Noble Red, a trio of Illuminati experiments looking to regain the humanity they’ve lost by any means necessary. Furthermore, the girls realize that Noble Red is receiving information from a source very close to them, leaving the members to confront suspected informers.

Why You Should Watch Senki Zesshou Symphogear XV

1. A Sight For Sore Eyes

A notable feature of Senki Zesshou Symphogear XV is its usage of bright colors. For a world that is on the brink of destruction, the vibrant lights of the girls’ armor while in various power modes resemble optimism and the elimination of darkness, Noise. The range in animation style is incredibly captivating. We can view significant differences when the characters shift through countless action sequences.

Additionally, Senki Zesshou Symphogear XV mixes a wide range of animation methods that shows off each Symphogear’s special ability. Studio Satelight made sure to highlight every sharp and colorful detail between each girl.

2. It’s on Its Fifth Season

Whether it is the storyline, cute girls, or popularity, Senki Zesshou Symphogear XV has something viewers are craving. As a serial-type anime, Senki Zesshou Symphogear XV sparks viewer engagement and intrigue. Over the years, we have watched the story, characters, and battle scenes evolve and improve. We believe much of its success is due to many things such as being relatable when it comes to school and teenage scenarios, fans bringing on the hype, and the amazing PVs released. More than that, Senki Zesshou Symphogear XV touches on a lot of genres, for example, sci-fi, magic, idol, action, mecha, just to name a few.

Why You Should Skip Senki Zesshou Symphogear XV

1. An Ordinary Theme We Have Seen Before

Although the Symphogear franchise is backed with much success, the story and outline share a very common structure: a group of school-aged girls who come together to destroy a threat that somehow always returns. In addition to this, Senki Zesshou Symphogear XV integrates the concept of friendship, teamwork, and overcoming adversity; and having these qualities is, in fact, the most powerful weapon of all. Even though this is true, we would have liked more plot twists or some kind of betrayal to spice things up.

Final Thoughts

Imagine if it were truly possible to take down evil using the sound of your voice to activate a precious relic. That would be awesome! Senki Zesshou Symphogear XV presents an amazing concept with brilliant animation, intriguing characters, and over the top action scenes.
