Can we talk about the pure HYPE of a Boruto anime series?! I mean, I knew it was coming, but so soon! Let's hope this one continues as long as Naruto!

I wonder how it will live up to Naruto: Shippuuden, though? I mean, that show is up there with Bleach, One Piece, and Fairy Tail.

Well if I get to watch papa Naruto and papa Sasuke in this series, then I'm gonna say right now it'll be a hit for me...

It's not long until the air date now! I haven't watched Naruto, but this looks like it could work as a standalone series, so I think I'll give it a shot!

Synopsis

The sequel to the Naruto series, which follows Naruto’s son Boruto.

The Village Hidden in the Leaves has continued to modernize while remaining at peace. Electric cars run throughout the city between interconnected districts while skyscrapers stand tall showing images on giant monitors. In this era, the Village Hidden in the Leaves is now a ninja village in name as many normal people as well have come to live here. All the while the lifestyle of a ninja changes too…

Boruto, the son of the seventh hokage and current the leader of the village, has joined the ninja academy in order to be taught the ways of a ninja. The students around Boruto all biasedly refer to him as “the son of the hokage”, but Boruto’s daring personality allows him to drive off those negative words.

Boruto will encounter new friends and allies, but how will be handle these mysterious incidents that are breaking out? The story of Boruto Uzumaki starts now!

Three Episode Impression

If you missed Naruto after its ending, then this anime is perfect for you. In a nutshell, Boruto takes you back to memory lane as now it features Naruto’s son Boruto and his misadventures of being a ninja. He is quite like his father when he was little, bold, righteous, generally being a nuisance to the public. In the series, Naruto became the 7th Hokage and with that, unfortunately, it meant tons of work for the man.

The series hinted that Boruto is acting out due to the hectic schedule of his father. Often skipping dinner and not even coming home, spending less and less time with his family. With that being said, it’s nostalgic to see your favorite Naruto characters being adults now, having families, or even jobs as teachers in the ninja school. This show is a must-watch for people who watched Naruto and missed it, because it has every crucial element of that show!
