Synopsis
Several thousand years ago, a mysterious phenomenon turned every human being on Earth to stone. One day, Senku, a brilliant young boy who believes completely in science, awakens.
He vows to use the power of science to restore the world to what it was pre-petrification. To that purpose, he gathers allies and creates a Kingdom of Science. Fire, steel, electricity, glass, and even cell phones. They will have to retrace two million years worth of scientific progress from the Stone Age to modern times...
However, they soon encounter Tsukasa Shishio, the leader of the Empire of Force. Seeking to purify mankind, he intends to use force to suppress the advancement of science.
Thus, the STONE WARS begin!

Senku: Yusuke Kobayashi
Senku has a superhuman amount of knowledge and intelligence and has a strong spirit of inquiry through and through. In this new Stone World where civilization has ceased, he plans to bring back civilization from scratch. On the backside of his cool and logical thinking process, he has strong feelings and cares deeply for his friends. He often says ‘this is stirring me up!’
Taiju Ooki: Makoto Furukawa
Taiju is Senku’s childhood friend and is a high school student. He’s honest, kind, and cares for his friends, too. He’s extraordinarily stubborn and simple, but he supports Senku. He hates conflict and cannot deal with confrontation. He has feelings for his other childhood friend, Yuzuriha.
Yuzuriha Ogawa: Kana Ichinose
Yuzuriha also has feelings for Taiju and is the childhood friend of both Senku and Taiju. As a member of the fine arts club, she is very skilled with her hands. She’s so kind, that she will take petrified bird to the hospital because she is worried about them.
Tsukasa Shishiou: Yuichi Nakamura
Tsukasa is the strongest primate high school student. He is so powerful that he can threaten a lion with his bare hands. He’s generally cool and logical. In the Stone World, believes that he should create the best world possible without a single vested interest for young people.
Chrome: Gen Satou
Chrome is highly inquisitive, intelligent, and honest. He gathered the materials necessary to prepare the drug for Ruri. Upon meeting Senku, he becomes fascinated by science and joins the Kingdom of Science to learn more about it. Chrome is very creative and sometimes even surprises Senku with his scientific ideas.
Kohaku: Manami Numakura
Kohaku has blond hair and blue eyes. She’s highly experienced, light on her feet, and skilled enough to fight on equal footing with men. Her manner of speaking is very old-fashioned. She takes to Senku’s way of life, and after receiving a sulfa drug to cure her older sister Ruri’s illness, decides to join his Kingdom of Science.
Ukyou Saionji: Kensho Ono
One of the top 3 archers in the Empire. Before petrification, he was a military official and submarine sonarman. He is mainly a guard in the Empire.
You Uei: Yoshiki Nakajima
A former police offices que claims to be one of the four Heavenly Kings of the Empire. Before petrification, he was the best martial artist in the baton division in the force.
Nicky: Atsumi Tanezaki
A resident of the Empire. She practiced judo before petrification and her real name is Hitoshi Hanada and "Nicky" is a nickname from her juniors in the judo club.
