Action & Adventure Anime

The story takes place in the Republic of San Magnolia, a nation under siege by the neighboring Giadian Empire. The empire has been carrying out its invasion using an unmanned autonomous battle drone army called the Legion. In retaliation, San Magnolia eventually creates their own drone army known as the Juggernaut. Although these drones are believed to be unmanned, in truth they are piloted by the Eighty-Six, a group of people who have been stripped of their humanity and are cast into battle as dispensable soldiers. The Eighty-Six is composed of a squadron called Spearhead and led by their field commander, Shin. On the battlefield devoid of hope where only death awaits, Shin continues to fight for a certain purpose.

Lena, an elite Republican soldier, is assigned as the new commanding officer, also known as a “handler,” to oversee the Spearhead Squadron. Lena despises the social caste system of the Republic that looks down on the Eighty-Sixers as “subhuman pigs,” and treats them as human beings. With Shin leading the young Eighty-Sixers on the battlefield and the talented and promising elite Lena offering tactical support from the rear, they stand on the front lines constantly on the brink of life and death.

Despite living in a class based-society where a pureblood such as Lena should have never crossed paths with someone of mixed race like Shin, the two of them break down social constructs and continue to fight for a brighter future.

Mitsugu Bamba is a high school girl who is crazy about donating her blood, to the point that she feels compelled to visit a local blood bank despite the unfriendly nurse. One day, Mitsugu encounters a beautiful girl there who looks like she has come from overseas. The girl is so pale that she appears ready to faint. Instead, she suddenly starts trashing the blood bank. The girl then loses consciousness and so Mitsugu takes her home...
Conceived and created by director Mamoru Oshii (Ghost in the Shell and Mobile Police Patlabor), VLADLOVE is a light-hearted tale of vampires and teenage school girls that showcases the rich imagination of one of Japan’s most renowned anime directors. This is Oshii’s first comedy since Urusei Yatsura, and he is helped in his role as Executive Director & Producer by a team that includes director Junji Nishimura, music director Kazuhiro Wakabayashi, and music composer Kenji Kawai.

This story takes place in year X492, according to the Space calendar. Humans have moved on to live in space and travel across the stars. Rebecca is a “B-cuber” who posts videos for streaming online. While on the machine-planet Granbell she ends up meeting Shiki, a young boy who’s able to manipulate gravity. Shiki values friendship more than anything, even more so than his grandfather, and Demon King Ziggy’s teachings. Shiki has never seen anything but the planet Granbell before, so Rebecca takes him with her on adventures outside. Out there, Shiki sees new things and meets new people. This story is about Shiki and his friends as they embark on new, exciting adventures.

Kakeru Miwa is a high school student who's been pulled into a battle between powered exoskeleton suits and "Oni", a being from the spiritual world that feeds on humans. The Oni plans to possess humans and enter the real world. The only thing that might stop it is the exoskeleton "Yoroi", developed by fusing ancient arts and the latest technology.

Kakeru by chance finds himself in a suit, an irregular member of the team that's fighting the Oni. He's also tasked with protecting Oka Myoujin, a shrine maiden with the destiny to save the world.

One night while Sorawo Kamikoshi is exploring an abandoned house, she discovers a door that leads to the Otherside. After stepping through the door, she sees a creature called the “Kunekune” and winds up in a near-death situation. As she lies there contemplating her death, she is saved by a girl named Toriko Nishina. Toriko, wanting to check out more of the Otherside, enlists Sorawo and together they explore the mysterious and dangerous world where the Kunekune and other creatures from urban legends exist.

Peach Boy Riverside

Once upon a time, there lived an old man and woman.
The old man went to the hills to cut grass, and the old woman went to the river to do the washing... and so on, and so forth.
Thus at the end of the tale, Momotaro defeats the oni demons.
However, he catches wind that there are more oni in foreign lands, and departs to cross the ocean in search of them.

Certainly, it was impressive that he vanquished the oni. And surely it should be rejoiced that people were saved.
There was just one problem...

He liked it.

This is a story of “what if”s.
What if there hadn’t been only one large peach that had come floating down the river?
What if the peach found in Japan was just one of many more...?

Koi to Yobu ni wa Kimochi Warui

Ryo Amakusa is both exceptionally good looking and amazingly skilled at his job. However, he's horrible with women.
One day at the train station he's helped by a high school girl after nearly falling down the stairs. One night while walking back home after being rejected by his boss, Airi Goto, Yoshida comes across a young girl named Sayu Ogiwara who has run away from home. Instead of doing sexual favors, he tells her that she can do some work as compensation. While living together, she is touched by his kindness and hopes he never throws her out. Sayu lets her true feelings out and Yoshida also admits that he feels she has made his apartment feel cozy and homelike.

The seasons continue to go by until one summer day when a woman named Ao Kanda starts work at Yoshida’s office. Ao is Yoshida’s ex-girlfriend, which makes Sayu feel uneasy. On the other hand, Yoshida is determined to help Sayu see her parents one more time, but he can no longer imagine life without her.

Kyuuketsuki Sugu Shinu

On the outskirts of Saitama, there was a castle inhabited by an immortal and fearsome vampire. A vampire hunter by the name of Ronaldo was hired to save a kid who went to the castle but never returned. What he found there was indeed an immortal, but it was a small fry vampire named Draluc that dies at the slightest things, turning into a pile of ash. And as it turns out, the kid was not captured by Draluc, but rather just enjoyed playing in the castle.
Ronaldo was a little careless on his mission and accidentally destroyed the castle. Draluc was now without a home, so he rolled up to Ronaldo’s office and moved in. Due to a strange turn of events, Draluc and Ronaldo team up, writing articles and dealing with any incidents that arise.

Keyaru is able to escape from Flare's group and defeats the Demon King with his own hand. He attains the Philosopher's Stone and is able to utilize its power with his "Recovery" ability to turn back time.

He rewinds time to four years ago, before his travels and is determined to restore his life back to normal and exact revenge upon the heroes that persecuted him. In order to attain happiness, he sets out on a new journey.
